Job description

Direct Support Professional / Caregiver

Posiiton Details:
As a Direct Support Professional, you'll provide hands-on support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting. You'll help individuals maintain their independence while promoting their health, safety, dignity, and quality of life.You'll build meaningful relationships, provide companionship, and participate in activities that bring individuals joy while supporting their everyday needs.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Providing personal care and daily support to individuals living in the home
  • Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other activities of daily living
  • Helping with meal preparation and light housekeeping
  • Providing transportation and companionship
  • Assisting with ambulation, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises
  • Maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment
  • Supporting individuals with communication and social skills
  • Participating in activities such as puzzles, games, reading, hobbies, and other activities they enjoy
  • Supporting individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities who may have co-occurring medical support needs

Schedule:
1st Shift - with weekends
Thursday - Sunday 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch
Full-Time | 40 Hours/Week

Pay:
$17.50 per hour
