Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable, compassionate, and caring Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join the Almost Family - Central Oregon team. This role is a part-time job opportunity located in Southern Oregon with a pay range of $20 to $23 per hour, paid biweekly. As a DSP, you will work closely with individuals who require physical, mental, and/or emotional assistance to complete ADL's (activities of daily living), develop life skills, and foster independence. This is an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of others.

Responsibilities
โ€ข Provide help with activities of daily living including but not limited to: physical and emotional support, integrated healthcare recommendations and support, behavioral interventions, and communication support
โ€ข Adhere to established protocols and client goals
โ€ข Provide transportation for appointments and daily activities
โ€ข Develop and maintain client relationships and foster positive self-esteem
โ€ข Live the company mission of providing individualized care to each of our clients
โ€ข Provide assistance with general housekeeping and home management
โ€ข Complete and adhere to all required documentation
Requirements

โ€ข 18 years of age or older

โ€ข 1+ years experience providing support for an I/DD individual and/or family member

โ€ข Knowledge and understanding of disabilities

โ€ข Ability to maintain strict confidentiality

โ€ข Compassionate, caring, and patient attitude

โ€ข Clear criminal background check

โ€ข Have a valid drivers license, active auto insurance, and a good working vehicle

โ€ข Ability to work independently and as part of a team
