Job description

Job Title: Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Location: Clarksville, TN (Montgomery County)

Job Purpose: Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities? As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) with Apis Services, you will be a key player in empowering individuals to achieve their personal goals and live as independently as possible. Under the guidance of the Home Supervisor/QIDP, you will support the vision and outcomes outlined in each person’s Individual Support Plan (ISP) or Person-Centered Support Plan (PCSP), ensuring their safety and well-being while helping them thrive in their community.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Personal Care: Assist with daily hygiene (when necessary), bathing, dressing, and feeding.

Physical Support: Must be able to lift 50-60 lbs as needed.

Household Tasks: Prepare meals and cook as required.

Community Engagement: Transport individuals within the community.

Medication Administration: (for Community Living settings only)


Required Education and Experience:

Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Experience: Prior experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities is a plus.

Other Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old. Must possess a valid driver’s license from TN or KY. Candidates must also pass all required pre-employment screenings, including criminal background checks and drug tests.


Hourly Pay: $15.50


Shifts: Part-time (Weekends)

Saturday & Sunday 7a-7p

Saturday & Sunday 8a-4p

Saturday & Sunday 6a-6p

Saturday & Sunday 8p-8a (2)
