A day in the life of a DSP
As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will support individuals with daily living skills, promote independence and community involvement, and assist with appointments, work, and recreational activities. You will build respectful relationships, follow each person’s Individual Service Plan (ISP), complete basic documentation, and maintain a safe, supportive environment.

Available schedules:

  • 24-hour sleep shifts
  • 8-12 hour overnight awake shift
  • Various day-time hours available

Who we are looking for:

  • 18 years or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong communication, reliability, and compassion
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Moderate computer skills

Driving may be required for some assignments:

  • 21+ with 3 years driving experience
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Current DMV report and auto insurance

Work Environment & Physical Conditions:

  • Standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs
