Position Summary: This position is responsible for directing all aspects of practice operations, including the performance of providers and support staff, to ensure the achievement of organizational goals, operational objectives, and budget targets. This role focuses on driving market growth and expanding market share by developing and implementing strategic short‑ and long‑range plans in partnership with executive leadership. Responsibilities include comprehensive oversight of daily operational functions, optimization of workflows and processes, and continuous improvement initiatives aimed at ensuring efficiency, quality, and sustainable practice performance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate a workplace culture aligned with company values to support high retention and low turnover.
  • Execute strategic business plans to drive market growth, operational efficiency, and process improvement.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between physicians and executive leadership, ensuring proactive issue resolution.
  • Lead and supervise all administrative/business staff and oversee clinical lead responsibilities.
  • Support management in resolving provider concerns and escalate ongoing issues as appropriate.
  • Ensure full compliance with OSHA, CLIA, HIPAA, and all other regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee credentialing processes to ensure timely and accurate completion of all provider licenses, certifications, and enrollments.
  • Assist with integration and operational transition of newly acquired practices.
  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, and successful integration of physicians and advanced practice providers.
  • Monitor and improve operational and customer service performance across all service lines (aesthetics, general dermatology, Mohs).
  • Set staff productivity expectations and recommend staffing adjustments to optimize efficiency.
  • Maintain advanced proficiency in practice management systems and workflows.
  • Track and analyze KPIs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Support budget development and ensure achievement of growth and financial targets.
  • Drive practice financial performance, including revenue growth, labor management, capital planning, and expense control.
  • Oversee facility operations and maintain communication with landlords as needed.
  • Direct marketing initiatives, quality assurance activities, and IT-related operational needs.
  • Support providers with business, operational, and customer service–related concerns.
  • Act as Compliance Manager for assigned practices.
  • Lead new facility setup and project management, including utilities, technology, and operational readiness.
  • Maintain and update master lists and coordinate procurement of supplies, equipment, and furnishings for new locations.

Experience Requirements

  • 10 years extensive practice or healthcare management experience, dermatology preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements

  • Knowledge of Billing, CPT Coding, General Accounting, Human Resources and Information Systems Management
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft applications which includes Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point, as well as other web-based applications.
  • Able to produce complex documents, perform analysis and maintain databases
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to evaluate and monitor clinical capabilities and skill levels
  • Ability to develop and execute business plans and achieve strategic marketing and operating goals
  • Ability to manage, develop and motivate employees
  • Ability to prepare, interpret and analyze financial statements
  • Ability to round between practices on a weekly basis
