Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Nursing Cath Lab, IR, and Stress Test to oversee 24/7 clinical operations, quality standards, and staff development within our Cath Lab department.

This leadership role requires a strong clinical background in interventional cardiology combined with a proven track record of physician partnership, service-line expansion, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Departmental Leadership: Direct 24-hour daily operations, clinical workflows, and patient care standards across the Cardiac Cath Lab.
  • Physician Collaboration & Program Growth: Partner closely with cardiologists, electrophysiologists, and executive leadership to grow, expand, and enhance cardiac service lines.
  • Quality & Compliance: Maintain compliance with state regulations, Joint Commission standards, and facility policies to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety.
  • Team Development: Manage recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, performance evaluations, and ongoing clinical education for nursing and technologist staff.
  • Financial & Resource Stewardship: Manage unit budgets, supply chain controls, capital equipment utilization, and staffing models to drive operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications & Credentials

Education & Licensure

  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)Required
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in the State of Nevada — Required

Experience

  • Clinical Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of clinical nursing experience in cardiovascular / acute care settings.
  • Management Experience: 2–3+ years of direct management or director-level experience overseeing a Cardiac Cath Lab.
  • Program Development: Demonstrated success collaborating with medical staff to expand or build Cath Lab programs.

Certifications & Technical Skills

  • Basic Life Support (BLS)Required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)Required
