Are you a consultative sales professional with experience in direct mail, data-driven marketing, or franchise development programs? Do you enjoy building long-term client relationships while helping businesses grow through strategic marketing solutions?

Kirkwood is seeking a Senior Account Executive to lead and expand our strategic franchise partner program. This unique sales opportunity combines consultative selling, strategic account management, business development, campaign planning, and marketing strategy into a highly visible growth role.

As a trusted advisor, you'll work directly with franchise owners, corporate marketing teams, and internal production specialists to develop and implement targeted direct mail programs that drive customer acquisition, increase brand awareness, and deliver measurable business results. You'll play a key role in expanding Kirkwood's footprint within franchise organizations across the country while helping clients maximize the effectiveness of their local and national direct marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

New Business Development

  • Sell customer acquisition, retention, and growth-focused direct mail programs
  • Lead discovery and on-boarding meetings with prospective clients and newly signed franchisees
  • Identify opportunities to increase franchise participation and expand market penetration
  • Support franchisees with marketing strategies for new territory acquisitions and expansions

Campaign Planning & Execution

  • Conduct ZIP code-level analysis to identify optimal demographic targets
  • Build targeted mailing lists based on geographic and demographic insights
  • Develop and present campaign recommendations aligned with franchisee goals
  • Create and manage detailed mail plans, including drop dates, budgets, and campaign timing
  • Lead creative review meetings and ensure alignment on campaign messaging
  • Transition approved programs to Client Services for production and execution

Client Management & Strategic Support

  • Provide ongoing marketing guidance, strategy, and support to franchisees
  • Maintain strong, consultative relationships with franchise owners and stakeholders
  • Act as a primary point of contact for campaign performance and optimization discussions
  • Work closely with internal teams for program execution

Reporting & Analytics

  • Review mid-year and annual campaign performance reports with franchisees
  • Present performance insights and recommendations to corporate franchise marketing stakeholders
  • Respond to ad hoc reporting and data requests from internal and external partners
  • Track, compile, and submit weekly order reports and mailed volume reports

Collaboration & Communication

  • Partner closely with corporate franchise marketing and internal teams to ensure program alignment
  • Support cross-functional coordination across data, creative, and production teams
  • Attend annual conferences and industry events to strengthen relationships and drive growth
