Salary: $18-$20/hour

JOB TITLE:
Bloom Closet Express and Direct Associate

REPORTS TO:
Bloom Closet Express and Direct Manager

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Reliable, energetic, and willing to work hard as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and a natural inclination toward organization and neatness
  • Fashion Flair and knowledge of children/youth/teen clothing sizes and needs; retail clothing experience a plus
  • Comfortable with basic computer tasks and data entry
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and stay organized in a fast-moving environment
  • Positive, flexible attitude and willingness to jump in where needed
  • Compassion and respect for children and families experiencing foster care
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and be on your feet for extended periods
  • Ability to drive a Bloom box truck or transit van (or willingness to be trained)
  • Must pass required background checks, including criminal and child abuse registry


POSITION SUMMARY:

The Bloom Closet Express and Direct Associate plays a hands-on role in creating meaningful experiences for children in foster care. This position supports the planning and execution of Bloom Direct and Bloom Closet Express by packing intentionally curated clothing boxes, preparing for mobile trips, and helping deliver a welcoming, dignified experience for each child served.

This is an active role that blends organization and logistics with a strong sense of style and understanding of childrens clothing needs and sizesall centered on helping foster children feel seen, valued, and cared for during critical moments in their lives.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Pack curated Bloom Direct boxes with care and attention to detailensuring each child receives items that feel personal and special
  • Help create a welcoming, boutique-style shopping experience for children during Bloom Closet Express trips
  • Assist with planning and preparing for Express trips, including organizing inventory and logistics
  • Support day-to-day operations of the Express and Direct programs, including basic data entry and tracking
  • Communicate with partners to gather feedback and ensure a high-quality experience for children and caregivers
  • Assist with outreach and growth efforts to expand the reach of both programs
  • Jump in wherever needed to support the team and mission

GENERAL EXPECTATIONS: This is a full-time role. Some evenings and weekends are required, around Express trips and special events
