As an Engineering Supervisor, you're not just overseeing daily operations of physical building and systems maintenance and repairs - you're spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
Responsibilities
Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
  • Ensure facility safety and compliance: Support the maintenance of the hotel's buildings, mechanical systems, electrical systems, HVAC, and life safety systems, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Supervise maintenance operations: Assign and oversee daily maintenance tasks, ensuring thorough documentation of completed work in the property management system
  • Oversee contractor work: Supervise external contractors and inspect completed work for quality and compliance
  • Respond to service requests: Ensure maintenance requests, guest concerns, and emergency situations are addressed promptly and efficiently
  • Supervise and develop the team: Train, schedule, and supervise maintenance team members, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work and performance
