Description

Primary Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will successfully demonstrate the following toolsets to complete various functions within our Architecture, helping support and quickly deploy systems into the field.


Automating deployment, scaling, and management of containerized and cloud microservice based applications utilizing Kubernetes.

Configure systems, deploy software, and orchestrate advanced workflows to support application deployment and system updates within our architecture employing Ansible.

Work cohesively with Software Engineers and System Administrators to support uploading, organizing, and managing Containers as a Service (CaaS)

Manage Rancher by overseeing Kubernetes, addressing Operational and Security alerts to deploy and secure clusters

Requirements

Active TS SCI w/Poly

Ability to travel.


Experience with the primary toolsets - Kubernetes, Ansible MC, Cloud Technologies, Rancher, and Containers as a Service (Caas).?


A Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus twenty (20) years of systems engineering experience, OR  A High School Diploma or GED plus twenty-four (24) years of general systems engineering experience (any Process Area) OR a Master's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus eighteen (18) years of systems engineering experience.


Preferred Qualifications

Experience in rack elevation and cabling design

Large scale integration (rack and stack) experience
