The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for training, scheduling, directing and managing the dining room Servers to ensure residents receive the highest quality of customer service, efficiency and professionalism during their meal.
Responsibilities
  • Recruit, hire, train, motivate, and supervise dining staff in accordance with all company policies, procedures, and core values
  • Manage, schedule, evaluate and direct Servers
  • Ensure that Servers work efficiently and professionally at all times
  • Ensure a sanitary dining room complying with all health and safety codes, licensing regulations and policies and procedures regarding the proper handling and serving of food
  • Supervise and direct the cleaning of all dining and food service areas
  • Develop and implement training, policies and processes to ensure that Servers are properly groomed, dressed and using proper etiquette and manners while waiting tables courteously, and professionally
  • Survey residents to determine their satisfaction levels with the service provided and make corrections as necessary
  • Ensure that all residents are greeted and seated properly, making extra efforts to integrate new residents making them feel welcome and comfortable
  • Manage and track budget spending and goals
  • Display a positive and professional image through actions and maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform or clothing and name tag when working
  • Represent the Clearwater Living principles and core values on a daily basis
  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned or required

Qualifications
  • AA degree or Bachelor's degree (Gerontology, Kinesiology, Recreation Therapy, or Health Promotion) is preferable or combination of education and experience with developing and implementing programs for active aging
  • Minimum one year of supervisory experience to include training and supervising staff and developing and managing a budget
  • Serve safe certificate preferred
  • First Aid/CPR/BLS Certification preferred
  • Background clearances as required by government regulations
  • Must meet health requirements, including TB
