Position Summary The Certified Dietary Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and overseeing the daily operations of the Dietary Department. This role ensures that residents receive quality nutritional services while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

The Dietary Manager also promotes a clean, safe, and sanitary dining environment and supports a positive dining experience for residents. Key Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the Dietary Department. Plan, organize, and coordinate food service activities to ensure quality meal service.

Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to food service and sanitation. Supervise, train, and support dietary staff. Monitor food quality, resident satisfaction, and departmental performance.

Assist with menu planning, therapeutic diets, and nutritional services. Manage food service budgets, inventory, purchasing, and cost controls. Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen and dining environment.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to meet residents' nutritional needs. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Current certification as a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or registration as a Registered Dietitian (RD), as required by state regulations.

Minimum of two years of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting, including a hospital, skilled nursing facility, long-term care facility, or related environment. Knowledge of food service management, diet therapy, nutrition, sanitation standards, and cost control practices. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively with residents, families, staff, and healthcare professionals.
