Farmstead Care is seeking a dependable and experienced Dining Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our kitchen and dining services. This position plays an important role in creating a welcoming, enjoyable, and resident-centered dining experience for our residents.

The Dining Manager will combine hands-on cooking with leadership, overseeing menu planning, food ordering, inventory, kitchen supplies, staff supervision, and the overall organization of the kitchen. We are looking for someone who takes pride in preparing fresh, homemade meals and who understands the importance of listening to our residents and continually improving their dining experience.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the kitchen and dining services
  • Prepare and cook fresh, homemade meals for our residents
  • Plan and manage menus based on resident preferences, dietary needs, and nutritional requirements
  • Manage food ordering, inventory, and kitchen supplies to ensure the kitchen is properly stocked and operating efficiently
  • Supervise, schedule, and support kitchen staff
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen
  • Ensure meals are prepared and served safely, attractively, and on schedule
  • Gather feedback from residents about meals and dining experiences

  • Help create a welcoming and enjoyable dining environment for residents
  • Work closely with staff and leadership to ensure residents' needs and preferences are being met
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
  • Lead by example and create a positive, respectful, team-oriented work environment

We are looking for someone who is reliable, organized, hardworking, and passionate about cooking and serving others. Previous kitchen leadership or food service management experience is preferred.

At Farmstead Care, we believe that meals are an important part of our residents' daily lives and quality of life. We want our residents to enjoy their meals, have choices, and feel that their preferences are heard and valued. If you enjoy cooking, leading a team, and creating a dining experience that residents look forward to, we would love to have you join the Farmstead Care team.
