Summary

The Digital Designer is responsible for developing engaging, on-brand digital content across a variety of platforms, including social media, websites, email campaigns, presentations, and internal communications. This thinker/doer role blends creative strategy with hands-on execution, partnering closely with the marketing team to produce impactful visual content that supports business objectives and marketing initiatives. S/he demonstrates strong design capabilities, creativity, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of digital trends, user experience, and effective brand communication.

Roles and Responsibilities

The Digital Designer will perform the following duties in a safe, productive, and effective manner:

  • Designs and develops engaging digital content for social media, websites, email campaigns, presentations, advertisements, and internal communications
  • Creates visually compelling, on-brand creative assets that support marketing initiatives and business objectives
  • Designs graphics, layouts, templates, and multimedia content that enhance user engagement and brand visibility
  • Translates creative concepts and business needs into effective digital designs across multiple platforms and formats
  • Maintains brand consistency and visual standards across all digital and marketing materials
  • Ensures all creative content aligns with company messaging, style guidelines, and overall brand identity
  • Reviews and revises creative materials based on feedback while maintaining quality, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Collaborates closely with the marketing team and internal stakeholders to understand project goals, messaging, and target audiences
  • Supports the planning, development, and execution of digital marketing campaigns and communication strategies
  • Partners with team members to develop creative solutions that effectively communicate business initiatives and priorities
  • Assists with website content updates, digital publishing, and maintenance of online creative assets
  • Applies knowledge of digital trends, platform best practices, and user experience principles to improve digital content effectiveness
  • Supports digital communication efforts across multiple channels and platforms
  • Assists with multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards
  • Organizes and maintains digital files, creative assets, and project documentation in accordance with company standards
  • Stays current on emerging design trends, technologies, and creative best practices to continuously improve processes and deliverables
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Digital Media, or related field preferred. Equivalent professional experience and a strong portfolio will also be considered.
  • Minimum of 4 years of professional design experience with a strong focus on digital
  • Working knowledge of website CMS platforms, web hosting environments, and the processes involved in publishing and maintaining digital content
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
  • Experience with video editing and motion graphics 
  • Knowledge of best-in-class digital asset management systems preferred 
  • Basic understanding of usability and UX principles in digital environments preferred
