Job description

The Sales/Marketing/Administrative Intern will gain hands-on experience in sales, customer relationship management, and well-rounded business experience.  This position will support the sales team in a daily operations, behind-the-scenes administrative coordination and creative marketing contributions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and develop drafts for LinkedIn postings.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop print marketing materials for Sales team.
  • Refresh all process footage and pictures.  Ensure we have clean, high-quality footage to use for all major capabilities or content ideas.
  • Assist in putting together presentations and other materials.
  • Answer phones: use guide to direct any incoming calls. Take adequate messages when necessary to communicate with sales team.
  • Help with digital filing, data entry, and documenting of management tasks
  • Assist in JobBoss clean-up for material IDs to ensure they are entered properly with adequate pricing and lead times.
  • Set up weekly templates for Sales L10 meetings.
  • Perform contract review on spot buy customers.
  • Enter orders and file POs.
  • Assist in customer inquiries/questions on orders.
  • Complete weekly open order reports for various customers.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a college/university program or a recent graduate in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field.

Skills and Competencies

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer
  • Standing, walking, and bending periodically
  • Must be able to lift 15-20 pounds occasionally
  • Engaging in repetitive movements of wrists, hands, and fingers - typing and/or writing
  • Receiving and responding to oral communication
