We are seeking a highly-motivated Digital Engagement Intern to assist team members with day-to-day department responsibilities related to elevating the digital experience of our fans and event-goers.
Your Role on the Team:
  • Support the Lifecycle & Digital Engagement team and larger Integrated Marketing team in planning and activation of digital campaigns for organic brand, ticket sales, and partner initiatives.
  • Publish and manage content on our websites, including ticketing messaging, partnership promotions, and news articles, and create simple webpages, forms, and QR Codes.
  • Curate game highlights for our websites and direct-to-consumer streaming platform, including cutting video highlights, postgame media availability, and game photo galleries.
  • Publish and manage content on our mobile app, including ticketing messaging, partnership promotions, and news articles, as well as vertical content.
  • Submit website and app display ad flights to the NBA and WNBA via Team Portal.
  • Fulfill partnership-contracted and brand gameday activations, including live event trigger promotions via mobile app push notifications and in-app messages.
  • Build and deploy marketing emails for live events, including Know Before You Go messaging, post event surveys, and ticketing inventory management messages.
  • Create and manage tracking links for ticket sales on our digital and social platforms to attribute revenue.
  • Compile regular content performance and trend reports, analyzing our performance against our own metrics and other sports teams.
  • Maintain active database of assets used on digital platforms.

Your Skills and Experience:
  • Experience/Education Requirements:
    • Have earned high school diploma or GED
    • Be within one year of earning your Bachelor's degree at a Phoenix-area university, or have recently obtained it in Marketing, Communications or a related field
  • Experience working with HTML/CSS, WordPress CMS, Formstack, email automation platforms or similar tools
  • Copywriting and Adobe Creative Cloud experience would be a plus
  • Curiosity, with a desire to continuously learn and grow
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends, based on game schedule
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with colleagues across multiple business areas
  • Comfortable operating a fast-paced environment and wearing multiple hats, where both strategy and tactical delivery are required
  • Enthusiasm and a desire to learn new technologies and business practices
