Specialist, Digital Personalization & Testing Operations

About the role:
CHANEL is looking for a Specialist, Digital Personalization & Testing Operations to join our Digital & Client Experience team on-site in New York City. In this role, you will be responsible for executing programs to deliver personalized site experiences and testing on Chanel.com to create meaningful connections with the brand and deepen client relationships. You will play a hands-on role in supporting our digital personalization and A/B testing initiatives, managing day-to-day programming in the personalization and testing platform, conducting rigorous quality assurance, and ensuring the ongoing health and accuracy of live experiences. This role is highly collaborative, partnering closely with Digital, Tech, Artistic Direction, Client Experience Management, and Data teams to deliver best-in-class client experiences.
Our ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years of relevant digital personalization experience, a strong technical aptitude, and a passion for personalization and experimentation. You are detail-oriented, energized by digital innovation, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Technical Requirements: Monetate (or similar site personalization tool), Google Analytics, HTML, A/B Testing, and QA experience, technical collaboration, etc.
What impact you can create at CHANEL:
Experience Set-Up & Execution
  • Execute personalization & testing experiences by implementing initiatives directly in the experience management tool, collaborating closely with third-party vendors and internal stakeholders

  • Ensure experiences are delivered on time, accurately, and aligned to business and client objectives

  • Submit site experience requests to artistic direction team when local assets or messaging are needed

  • Manage operational workflows by creating and tracking IT tickets, providing thorough documentation and walkthroughs of user journeys to streamline development processes

  • Collaborate with Tech partners to troubleshoot tagging, data, or technical dependencies required for launch

  • Set up audience, content, and behavior targeting, along with conditional requirements, test types, goal KPIs, and custom events within the third-party experience management tool

  • Conduct final user acceptance testing with precision, validating targeting, functionality, and visual rendering across browsers and devices

  • Post-activation, complete production QA and confirm analytics and key tracking metrics are flowing properly in intended systems

Ongoing Program Health Monitoring & Operational Support
  • Monitor live experiences through ongoing QA and performance checks to ensure program health and identify shifts, anomalies, or optimization opportunities

  • Create ongoing QA checklists and best practices to ensure consistency and reliability

  • Resolve issues quickly, escalating to Tech partners and/or third-party vendor when needed, providing creative solutions and/or interim plans to avoid program or initiative downtime

  • Maintain trackers and documentation as new initiatives are launched or deactivated

  • Help analyze experience and test performance leveraging various analytics tools, interpreting data, and compiling results

  • Document processes, standards, and playbooks to drive operational efficiency and enable scale

  • Provide input into retrospective reviews to refine processes and inform future roadmap planning

  • Review weekly performance dashboards, highlighting notable results or trends for the program overall

  • Partner with Business Analytics team to ensure accurate tagging, measurement, and reporting

What you will bring to the team:
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience working in a digital personalization and/or A/B testing role with hands on experience in a personalization/testing third-party platform (Monetate a plus)

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines with exceptional attention to detail

  • Analytical mindset, with previous experience using Google Analytics and Contentsquare a plus

  • Highly collaborative and flexible/adaptable to different environments and ways of working

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience managing trackers, documentation, and workflow

  • Technical aptitude preferred with a conceptual understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, enabling effective QA and collaboration with Technology partners

Position Logistics:
  • Role based in New York City, requires minimum of 3 days in-person office presence in our Midtown Manhattan office

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant Site Personalization, Digital Client Experience, QA, Testing experience with required technical aptitude in HTML, AB Testing, Monetate, UX Research, Google Analytics, etc.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Compensation:
  • The anticipated base salary range for this position is $58,200-$100,000. A base salary is one component of the total compensation for this position. Other forms of variable pay [may/will] be offered for this position. Other components [may/will] include bonus potential, benefits, and/or perks.
