Job description

Lead, Digital Portfolio Management

This role plays a key role in enabling effective execution, governance, and financial management across the Digital Technology portfolio. This role supports the VP of Digital Technology in ensuring digital initiatives are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with business priorities. The position combines strong program delivery discipline with operational leadership, helping coordinate portfolio execution, manage governance processes, and provide visibility into progress, risks, and resource allocation. The role partners closely with Digital Technology colleagues to improve delivery outcomes while constructively challenging scope, priorities, and execution approaches. Reports to VP, Digital Technology.

Coordinate and manage the Digital PMO processes, assisting in establishing governance, standards, and execution discipline across all digital initiatives.

Partner with the VP of Digital Technologies and Digital leadership team to support portfolio prioritization, capacity management, and investment planning.

Provide oversight and support for Digital financial management, including budgets, forecasts, vendor spend, and cost controls.

Manage IT/Digital administrative functions, including vendor management, contract coordination, and reporting.

Produce clear, concise executive reporting on portfolio health, risks, dependencies, and value realization.

Identify delivery risks and issues early and push back constructively to drive corrective action.

Support and guide Technical Product Managers on delivery best practices and stakeholder management.

Assist in preparing executive-level presentations and updates, including but not limited to weekly ELT updates, Digital PMO newsletters, and critical initiatives updates.

Acts as the central coordination point for Digital portfolio execution, ensuring transparency, accountability, and alignment across initiatives.

Serve as a trusted advisor to the Digital Technology team on execution, governance, and delivery risk.

Balance assertive results orientation with strong collaboration and relationship-building across stakeholders.

Facilitate alignment across Digital Products, Digital Operations & Cybersecurity, and business functions.

Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement within the Digital Technology organization.

5+ years of experience in IT or Digital project management, Digital/IT PMO leadership, or program management roles.

Proven experience managing project portfolios, governance processes, and executive-level reporting.

Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, vendors, and financial controls within a technology organization.

Ability to challenge assumptions, push back appropriately, and drive disciplined decision-making.

Familiarity with PMI, Agile, or hybrid delivery models applied pragmatically.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with executive-level presence.

Confidence to step into ambiguity, take ownership, and lead through influence.

Bias for action supported by strong governance and autonomy.
