Description

Temple University's Institutional Advancement Department is searching for a Coordinator, Digital Communications!

Salary Range: $40,000 - $45,000

Position Summary

The Coordinator, Digital Communications will support all digital communications initiatives for Temple University's Institutional Advancement (IA) department. Reporting to the Associate Director, Website Management, the Coordinator will assist with maintaining and updating Temple IA's primary website (alumni.temple.edu ) and all associated digital properties, including campaign microsites, and event and fundraising platforms.

The Coordinator will adhere to a set of department-wide standard operating procedures (SOPs) to fulfill all incoming digital communications requests coming in from school / college / unit partners, including online event registration pages, website edits, webpage builds, custom giving forms, report requests and more leveraging the Monday.com project management platform. The incumbent will also assist with campaign site builds and tactical digital plans for Temple IA's signature events and initiatives, including Homecoming & Family Weekend, Temple Made Days, Temple Giving Days, and more.

The successful candidate will be highly organized with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy. He/she will have the ability to prioritize tasks, meet aggressive deadlines, multitask, communicate effectively with all internal and external constituents, follow existing SOPs and make recommendations to processes for improved collaboration and efficiency, and work independently and in a collaborative team environment. He/she should also be tech-savvy and able to work in multiple best-in-class digital systems.

Job Details

* This position requires the following background checks: Cash Handling and Personally Identifiable Information background check.

Required Education and Experience

* Bachelor's degree.

* At least two (2) years of experience in Marketing/Communications, with an emphasis on digital communications.

* An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

* Familiarity with web CMS technologies.

* Basic understanding of Adobe Photoshop.

* Basic understanding of HTML and web design.

* Basic knowledge of web content development.

* Strong writer with good command of the English language and grammar.

* Knowledge of higher education/nonprofits/fundraising a plus.

Preferred Education and Experience

* experience with Drupal CMS.
