Job description

About this role

The Senior Manager, Digital Product Management will define and lead the digital roadmap for our Data Center cooling portfolio. This role is responsible for embedding digital capabilities โ€” including telemetry, analytics, controls integration, and platform interoperability โ€” into mission-critical cooling systems.

This is a product management role first. The ideal candidate is a practiced PM who owns roadmaps, drives customer discovery, aligns cross-functional teams, and ships products โ€” and brings that craft to a domain they know well: data center infrastructure. You will shape how cooling infrastructure evolves into connected, intelligent, and energy-aware systems aligned to hyperscale and colocation expectations.

Reports directly to Head of Products, DPX.

Key Responsibilities Digital Platform Strategy
  • Define the multi-year digital strategy for Data Center cooling systems, spanning:
    • Embedded telemetry and edge intelligence
    • Cloud-based monitoring and diagnostics
    • Predictive performance analytics
    • Optimization and control strategies
    • API-driven integration frameworks
  • Establish digital architecture and data requirements to ensure scalability and interoperability.
  • Embed digital capabilities into new product development from early concept phases.
Data Center Market & Segment Leadership
  • Translate data center operational requirements into product strategy, including redundancy models (N, N+1, 2N), commissioning timelines, high-density rack deployments, and liquid/hybrid cooling architectures.
  • Define digital differentiation across hyperscale, colocation, enterprise, and edge segments.
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking focused on digital maturity and ecosystem positioning.
  • Support strategic customer engagements where digital capabilities influence infrastructure decisions.
Competitive Digital Differentiation
  • Define how digital capabilities improve uptime visibility, operational performance, service enablement, and lifecycle optimization.
  • Identify and develop monetizable digital services aligned to cooling infrastructure.
  • Establish KPIs tied to digital adoption, utilization, and service expansion.
Energy & Infrastructure Convergence
  • Identify where cooling systems intersect with PUE optimization, load balancing, energy visibility, and grid-aware operational strategies.
  • Develop roadmap elements supporting energy-aware cooling solutions.
  • Align digital strategy with broader infrastructure and energy initiatives.
Investment & Portfolio Leadership
  • Develop structured business cases tied to revenue growth and lifecycle value.
  • Recommend build, partner, or acquisition pathways to accelerate capability development.
  • Provide clear roadmap updates and investment recommendations to senior leadership.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of experience in data center infrastructure, mission-critical cooling, and/or precision HVAC environments.
  • 5+ years of handsโ€‘on product management experience owning a roadmap, defining requirements, and driving products from concept through launch in a B2B or enterprise context.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Direct experience working with hyperscale, colocation, or enterprise data center operators.
  • Experience participating in systemโ€‘level architecture discussions, deployments, or commissioning activities.
  • Demonstrated experience shaping product strategy beyond sustaining lifecycle management.
  • Experience integrating physical systems with digital platforms, controls, or monitoring ecosystems.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen.
  • Experience with liquid cooling architectures or highโ€‘density AI deployments.
  • Experience competing in or against major data center infrastructure providers.
  • Familiarity with DCIM platforms, BMS/BAS integrations, or digital monitoring ecosystems.
  • Experience launching new offerings in missionโ€‘critical markets.
