As an LMFT at Gateway Psychotherapy Center, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual therapy sessions using evidence-based approaches, tailored to meet each client's unique needs.
• Facilitating couples therapy to help couples navigate relationship challenges and improve communication.
• Guiding family therapy sessions aimed at resolving familial discord and enhancing family dynamics.
• Developing individualized treatment plans based on thorough assessments and collaborating with clients to set achievable therapeutic goals.
• Performing comprehensive assessments and accurate diagnoses of various mental health disorders.
• Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss client progress and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals when necessary.

The following qualifications are essential for this role:

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to connect effectively with clients and colleagues.

While the primary qualifications focus on licensure and experience, preference will be given to candidates with:

• Experience in telehealth or remote therapy practices, demonstrating proficiency with digital platforms.
• Familiarity with specific therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or solution-focused therapy.
• Experience working with underserved populations and knowledge of community resources to facilitate comprehensive care.
