• Conduct remote counseling sessions with individuals, couples, and families via secure telehealth platforms, ensuring a comprehensive and supportive therapeutic experience.
• Perform in-depth assessments of clients' mental health concerns, allowing you to craft personalized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs and progress goals.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address emotional, psychological, and behavioral issues, actively engaging clients in the therapeutic process.
• Respond to crisis situations promptly, providing immediate support and intervention with professional sensitivity to ensure client safety and well-being.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, including progress notes and treatment plans, in line with legal and ethical guidelines.
• Educate clients on mental health disorders and effective coping strategies, empowering them with the knowledge and tools to manage their mental health proactively.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, establishing referrals to external providers and community resources to deliver holistic, integrated care for clients.
• Stay apprised of emerging trends and developments in mental health counseling through ongoing professional education, webinars, and training sessions.

You will serve a diverse population of clients seeking mental health support, ranging from individuals dealing with anxiety and depression to those seeking guidance in interpersonal relationships and personal growth. Your ability to build rapport and establish trust will be pivotal in guiding clients toward their therapeutic goals.

• A current, valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida.
• A Master's degree or higher in counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of two years of experience in mental health counseling, with a preference for experience in a remote setting.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in a virtual environment.
• Proficient with telehealth platforms and technology for remote counseling.
• A strong commitment to ethical practice and confidentiality within the counseling profession.
• The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a remote team structure.
• Flexibility to accommodate the varying schedules and needs of clients.

• Experience with specific therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or mindfulness-based therapy.
• Prior involvement with crisis intervention strategies and experience working with a diverse client population.
• Familiarity with client management systems and digital tools that facilitate efficient documentation and follow-up care.
