Utilizing Telehealth technology, you will connect with clients through secure video conferencing platforms, enabling you to deliver impactful therapy from the comfort of your home. • Conduct thorough and clinically sound assessments to identify clients’ mental health needs, creating individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based modalities.
• Provide therapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups, customizing each session to meet specific client goals while employing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Solution-Focused Therapy.
• Offer immediate crisis intervention and support for clients experiencing mental health emergencies or acute distress, ensuring a timely and effective response.
• Maintain detailed and confidential client documentation, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and session evaluations, in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams encompassing psychiatrists, social workers, and healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
• Educate clients and their family members on mental health challenges and resources available within the community, advocating for their needs and rights.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, training sessions, and peer consultations to stay updated with industry best practices and enhance therapeutic skills.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Hidden Paradise Counseling Services, you will work with a diverse client population reflecting various age groups, cultural backgrounds, and mental health issues. You will address concerns ranging from anxiety and depression to relationship challenges and trauma recovery. Your empathetic approach will play a pivotal role in helping clients navigate their journey towards recovery and personal development.

• Must be licensed as a Mental Health Therapist (LIMFT, LPCC, LISW) in the state of Illinois.
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• Strong clinical assessment abilities, with a proven track record in developing effective treatment plans.
• At least two years of directly related experience in a mental health counseling role.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for helping others.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting with a flexible approach to case management.
• Strong commitment to maintaining ethical standards and professional integrity in all client interactions.

• Experience working in telehealth is highly desirable, as this role relies heavily on virtual counseling sessions.
• Previous involvement in community outreach or engagement initiatives that support mental health awareness.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices, particularly in working with intensive and acute mental health cases.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
