Job Summary/Description:
FOX5, KVVU Las Vegas, is the market's #1 news team. And now we're looking for an experienced Executive Producer to help lead and support our morning news team.
Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Strong news-producing skills and the ability to use that experience to mentor and guide a team of producers and anchor/reporters.
- Exceptional communication skills and experience in creating a positive team environment.
- Excellent news judgment and proven ability to lead morning team, enterprise, and breaking news content.
- Ability to work with the senior news management as needed to implement policies and procedures within the department
Qualifications/Requirements:
- An ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience as a producer, and previous experience as an Executive Producer.
- The successful applicant's background must include, at a minimum, a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism or its equivalent. No beginners.
