Staff AccountantLocation: Glendora

Position OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented
Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations, with a strong focus on Accounts Payable, General Ledger reconciliation, and journal entries. This role will work with both paper and paperless invoice processes and play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities- Process accounts payable invoices (paper and electronic), ensuring proper coding and approvals
- Manage invoice workflows, including scanning, filing, and maintaining organized digital records
- Perform General Ledger (GL) reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals and reclasses
- Support month-end close processes and ensure timely completion of tasks
- Review and verify vendor invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Assist with payment processing (checks, ACH, wire transfers)
- Maintain vendor records and support audit requests as needed
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve invoice and payment issues
- Identify opportunities to improve AP and accounting processes
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of accounting experience, including AP and GL responsibilities
- Experience handling both paper and paperless invoice systems
- Strong understanding of journal entries and account reconciliations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Pay Details: $26.00 to $32.00 per hour
