Job description

Project Manager

Location: Alberta
Employment Type: Full-Time

Travel and Rotational Work: Required
Company: MSCP Heat Management Solutions

About MSCP

At MSCP Heat Management Solutions, we deliver industrial solutions with a focus on quality, coordination, and long-term client value. Our work supports major industrial and maintenance environments where strong planning, trusted relationships, and disciplined execution matter.

We operate differently than many traditional organizations. At MSCP, we believe the best results come from clear communication, aligned teams, continuous improvement, and protecting the flow of work across the business, not from silos, micromanagement, or reactive firefighting.

We are looking for a Project Manager who can help lead projects strategically, support field leadership, and strengthen client confidence through professional, organized, and forward-thinking leadership.

Position Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for supporting the successful delivery of assigned work by coordinating internal teams, maintaining strong client relationships, and helping projects stay aligned from planning through execution.

This role is best suited for someone who can operate at both a big-picture strategic level and a practical operational level, someone who understands field realities, communicates effectively, and can help remove barriers before they become problems.

At MSCP, this is not a role focused purely on day-to-day task chasing. It is a leadership role that helps ensure projects are set up for success, supported properly, and represented professionally with our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership

  • Provide overall project coordination and strategic oversight for assigned work

  • Help ensure projects are properly planned, supported, and positioned for success

  • Monitor project progress, priorities, risks, and client expectations

  • Support project execution by working closely with field leadership and internal teams

  • Help identify and remove operational barriers impacting performance, timelines, or quality

Client Relationships

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and site stakeholders

  • Act as a professional point of contact for project-related communication

  • Support long-term client confidence through proactive communication and follow-through

  • Identify opportunities to strengthen partnerships and support future work

Field Leadership Support

  • Support and mentor Foremen and General Foremen in project leadership and communication

  • Help reinforce strong execution practices, accountability, and professional standards

  • Support field teams in operating effectively within MSCP’s systems and expectations

  • Encourage leadership development while enabling site teams to take ownership of execution

Operational Coordination

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders including operations, estimating, engineering, manufacturing, and leadership

  • Help ensure labour, materials, equipment, and project support needs are aligned

  • Maintain strong communication between office, field, and client-facing teams

  • Support project documentation, workflow discipline, and overall organizational alignment

Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to process improvements that strengthen project delivery and team effectiveness

  • Share lessons learned and improvement opportunities across the business

  • Support a culture focused on quality, professionalism, and operational consistency

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, industrial operations, construction, maintenance, or related field leadership

  • Strong understanding of project coordination and client-facing communication

  • Experience working with field leadership and project execution teams

  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Comfortable using digital tools and project systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in industrial construction, maintenance, insulation, heat management, or related sectors

  • Experience working in site-based or industrial environments

  • Familiarity with Procore or similar digital project tools

  • Experience supporting long-term client relationships and repeat business opportunities

  • Leadership style that values communication, accountability, and continuous improvement

What Success Looks Like

In this role, success means:

  • Projects are better aligned and better supported

  • Clients feel informed, confident, and well-served

  • Field leadership feels supported and empowered

  • Communication improves across teams and nodes

  • Problems are addressed early, not late

  • Work is delivered with professionalism, consistency, and trust

Why Join MSCP

At MSCP, you’ll join a team that values:

  • Strong leadership

  • Clear communication

  • Continuous improvement

  • Systems thinking

  • Operational discipline

  • Long-term client trust

  • Practical problem-solving

This is an opportunity to be part of a company that is actively building a stronger, smarter way of delivering industrial work, and to play a meaningful role in shaping how projects and relationships are managed moving forward.
