What You'll Do
As a Senior Project Manager, you are the architect of project success, acting as the critical link between high-level strategy and tactical execution. By expertly navigating and managing budgets, timelines, and client expectations, this role ensures that project delivery remains synchronized and efficient across multiple departments.
The Senior Project Manager will lead the end-to-end RFP response process, collaborating with cross-functional leads to architect strategic proposals, define scopes of work, and ensure competitive, high-quality submissions.
The Senior Project Manager is a key part of the Project Management department, going beyond simply managing projects; they will anticipate hurdles, use data-driven insights to empower their teams, and ensure every deliverable meets our standard of excellence. You will collaborate closely with the Program Manager and the Client Services Team to transform vision into action, ensuring cross-functional team alignment.
Your Day-to-Day
  • Review and improve our Project Management frameworks to eliminate bottlenecks and increase cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Manage the Project Manager workload to assist in achieving accuracy between forecasted and actual spend
  • Ensuring projects adhere to the project management process frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project
  • Improve internal workflow systems that increase team efficiencies in the Project Management process
  • Lead high-complexity accounts characterized by intricate dependencies, overlapping timelines, and multi-channel deliverables
  • Lead, develop, and mentor the project management team, providing guidance, training, feedback, and support by becoming an expert in the project management tools and systems
  • Make recommendations for improvements and changes so that we continue to learn and improve operational efficiencies
  • Review estimates and Statements of Work for compliance, proactively identifying and neutralizing risks before they impact the bottom line
  • Onboard, mentor, and oversee the Project Management team members on project management processes and best practices, and provide recommendations for how to improve processes

Required Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience within a digital agency, content, and social media project management (preferred).
  • PMP Certification is required to ensure a standardized, rigorous approach to project lifecycles
  • Comprehensive understanding of digital marketing and social media, including social media landscapes, and the ability to leverage social media analytics
  • Demonstrates strong and expert-level project management and conflict resolution skills with a proven ability to navigate high-pressure situations
  • Ability to collaborate with all levels of staff on cross-functional teams, including creative, technical, and business development teams
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple overlapping assignments with complex dependencies

Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills within a fast-paced agency environment
  • Familiarity with Generative AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini) for professional writing, note-taking, documentation and brainstorming
  • Use AI-powered dashboards to identify "at-risk" tasks before they miss a deadline based on project data
