In the role of Digital Business Senior Portfolio Manager working onsite in Waukesha, Wisconsin you will be part of the Digital Business Office team.

The Digital Business Senior Portfolio Manager leads and manages the portfolio of strategic change initiatives that drive organizational transformation. This role ensures that programs and projects within the portfolio align with enterprise strategy, deliver measurable business value, and enable the organization to adapt to evolving markets, technologies, and operating models.

Major Responsibilities

Enterprise Transformation Leadership, Strategy & Governance

  • Drives execution of large-scale transformation initiatives spanning people, process, technology, and culture

  • Partners with executive leadership to identify and balance strategic investments

  • Translates executive vision and strategy into actionable portfolio roadmaps with measurable outcomes & KPIs.

  • Ensures transformation goals (efficiency, digital enablement, customer experience, innovation, cost optimization) are achieved.

  • Establishes governance frameworks for intake, prioritization, funding, and monitoring of digital initiatives

Enterprise Transformation Leadership, Strategy & Governance

Program Management & Execution Excellence

  • Maintains oversight over planning, execution, and delivery of multiple complex digital programs within the portfolio

  • Leads cross-functional teams to deliver transformation initiatives on time, within scope, and budget

  • Identifies interdependence, risks, and opportunities across the portfolio, and ensures proactive resolution

  • Champions agile, adaptive delivery methods to accelerate value realization

Financial & Resource Management

  • Oversees portfolio budgets, forecasts, and financial tracking to maximize ROI on digital investments

  • Collaborates with resource managers to optimize talent allocation across initiatives

  • Leverages data-driven insights to track investments, value delivered and steer improvements, efficiency and scalability of the portfolio

Stakeholder & Change Management

  • Partners with executive sponsors, business leaders, and program offices to align goals and priorities

  • Serves as the primary point of escalation and decision support for transformation programs

  • Develops executive-ready reports, dashboards, and presentations that clearly communicate progress, risks, and business impact

Performance Measurement & Value Realization

  • Partners with business stakeholders to define, establish and track KPIs to measure business value delivery, and customer impact

  • Continuously improves portfolio delivery practices and maturity

  • Ensures that delivered solutions enable enterprise digital transformation goals

Capability & Culture Building

  • Mentors and coaches' program and project managers, building enterprise-wide transformation and change-delivery capability

  • Introduces best practices, frameworks, and tools for enterprise portfolio management and transformation

  • Fosters a culture of agility, innovation, and continuous improvement

Minimum Job Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, or related field

Certification / License

  • PgMP or PMP

Work Experience

  • 12+ years of experience in program/portfolio management, with significant experience leading enterprise-wide

  • Proven track record delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives in a global or large-scale enterprise environment

  • Experience in change management, organizational alignment, and value delivery measurement (OKRs, KPIs)

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

  • Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills

  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing multi-million-dollar program budgets

  • Deep understanding of managing digital portfolios in an agile, SAFe delivery setting

Preferred Job Requirements

Certification / License

  • SAFe Lean Portfolio Management

Work Experience

  • Experience managing enterprise digital portfolios that deliver transforming B2B, B2B2C experiences leveraging SaaS solutions, preventative and reactive product maintenance capabilities enabled through IOT-driven analytics informing digital experiences and product maturity, AI/M, Agentic-AI and Gen-AI powered customer self-service capabilities

  • Experience with portfolio management tools (e.g. Jira, Jira Align)

  • Background in manufacturing industries undergoing enterprise transformation
