 At a Glance

Legrand North America is seeking a talented and motivated IT Program Manager to join the Enterprise Data Management (EDM) organization. This role will report to the Director of Enterprise Data Management and serve as the techno-functional leader responsible for coordinating and managing enterprise data initiatives across Data Engineering, Data Governance, Data Analytics, and enterprise data platforms. This position will lead cross-functional programs spanning both legacy and modern cloud-based data ecosystems, partnering with business stakeholders, architecture teams, analytics teams, and IT delivery organizations to drive scalable, governed, and high-quality enterprise data solutions. We are looking for someone who will bring strong program/project management expertise, enterprise data management experience, and the ability to align strategic data initiatives with business priorities and operational execution.

What Will You Do?

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support enterprise-wide Data Management programs across Data Engineering, Data Governance, Data Analytics initiatives
  • Manage cross-functional projects/programs simultaneously using Scrum, Agile, or Kanban or waterfall
  • Build complex project/sprint plans with multiple workstreams to keep project delivery on track.
  • Conduct daily standups. Run internal and external meetings with a variety of teams and varied experience levels and set clear expectations on the agenda.
  • Monitor team performance, driving continuous improvement and removing impediments that prevent the team from delivering the sprint goal/deliverables.
  • Manage project budgets, burn rate, and Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
  • Anticipate and manage risks and issues as they arise, take measures to correct when they occur, and escalate appropriately and in a timely manner.
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure alignment between business stakeholders, data engineering teams, analytics teams, enterprise architects, and external partners 
  • Monitor program health, delivery metrics, resource utilization, risks, dependencies, and budget performance and build data visualization reports
  • Coordinate enterprise data integration initiatives across ERP, CRM, MDM, analytics, and downstream operational systems
  • Analyzing and document data flows across multiple business systems
  • Define and document requirements in to features/stories in ADO, JIRA
  • Develop IT roadmap for improvement opportunities
  • Manage the overall program as well as the individual projects to deliver improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate with other IT teams for project deliverables
  • Partnership and alignment with the business on technical requirements and sprint prioritization
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple initiatives  
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, enterprise architecture, and application teams to support scalable and secure data solutions
  • Support vendor management activities, including coordination with external implementation and consulting partners
  • Contribute to the process improvement analyses by evaluating and recommending reporting tools or extracting data needed in the process evaluation
  • Manage dependencies and priorities across multiple enterprise data portfolios and strategic initiatives
  • Provide leadership in organizational change management, communication planning, and stakeholder alignment for enterprise data initiatives
Qualifications

Required Skills

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business or technical discipline
  • Master in Scrum - Certified Scrum Product Owner or Certified Scrum Master
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)

Job Requirements:

  • Experience with Data management systems and processes
  • Experience in managing a minimum of 3-5 EDM programs
  • Azure Cloud experience is beneficial
  • Experience with managing projects in Agile methodology
  • Strong project/program management skills
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite including Project Plan. Proficient in either Jira or Azure DevOps
  • Continuous improvement, Ways of Working
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work between technical and business teams
  • Strong interpersonal skill, with a collaborative and thoughtful approach 
  • Experience with 3rd party development partners
