Information Digital Technology & Security Career Foundation Program - 2027 Cohort
Company:
The Boeing Information Digital Technology & Security Career Foundation Program (IDT&S CFP) is a two-year rotation program that offers the opportunity to rotate through four different roles in Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) skill areas. These areas include, but are not limited to, AI and Data, Application Development, Cybersecurity, Data Science and Business Analytics, Software Engineering, Information Protection, Network Design, Product Management, Project Management, Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems Integration, and User Experience Design. Outside of the rotations participants will be completing, the IDT&S CFP also offers unique development opportunities for its program participants. These opportunities include technical trainings, annual all-team events, executive roundtables, mentoring experiences, and more! The IDT&S CFP has committees that run these different events for program participants and as a participant you will be required to engage with the committees and lead these events to grow your leadership and organizational skills.
Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) is responsible for the systems that support all aspects of the business. IDT&S designs, deploys, operates, and maintains the computing and telecommunications infrastructure for The Boeing Company through developing and sustaining product systems in partnership with our Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supplier Management organizations. As an organization, Boeing IDT&S establishes common processes, standards and procedures to use, protect and share information, and comply with government, regulatory and competitive obligations. These goals are accomplished by investing in our people through programs such as the IDT&S CFP! Participants get hands-on, experiential challenges and responsibilities to help shape themselves and the future of IDT&S at the company.
As an IDT&S CFP participant, you will be assigned challenging rotations in IDT&S skill areas under the mentoring of technology professionals who provide industry-leading solutions. You will assist in designing, developing, and implementing best in class technological solutions for our business, our partners, and our customers. You will be assigned roles that will allow you to apply and expand on the skills you have developed at school and in your introductory IDT&S experiences to build a solid foundation for your future career with Boeing.
Expected outcomes of participation in the program:
  • Development through cross-business unit and various functional rotations provide a holistic view of the company

  • Participation in and ownership of development activities, including site tours, mentoring, roundtables with executives, and leadership seminars

  • Expanded career opportunities, a larger network, and depart the program prepared to take on advanced technical and leadership roles at an accelerated rate

  • Structured assignments that provide learning experiences to support the development of each employee

Selected candidates will be extended an offer in one of the three US locations: Greater Seattle Area, Greater St. Louis Area, or North Charleston, SC. Location preferences will be considered, but not guaranteed and is based on the needs of the business. Relocation will be provided as needed and participants are expected to be located near their assigned program site prior to their start date. We are currently recruiting for positions that start in 2027.
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options, Greater Seattle, WA, Greater St. Louis, MO or North Charleston, SC area. This is at the hiring team's discretion and could potentially change in the future.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher completed by June 2027

  • Minimum of a 3.0 overall GPA on a 4.0 scale

  • Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio, and Project

  • Postgres, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL

Experience with one or more of any programming languages:

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):
  • A US Security Clearance

  • Higher level or advanced degree

  • Accredited Certifications in any of the IT&DA skill areas listed above

  • Demonstrated formal or informal leadership experience whether during internships, other work experiences, volunteer activities, or university clubs/associations

  • Experience in aerospace and/or manufacturing

  • GPA of 3.5 or above based on a 4.0 scale
