Day Donut Production Associate
Reports to: Shift Leader, Floor Manager, and Central Bakery Manager
Job Profile: Clerk 2, Production-Central Bakery
Business Title: Bakery Production-Central Bakery
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for the production of donuts, including mixing cake donut mix and yeast mixes, sheeting the dough, cutting, proofing, frying, and finishing the donuts. Distribution of finished products. Follow safe, sanitary food handling policy to prevent contamination and food borne illnesses.
Starting Wage:
$17.00
Schedule:
Start time: 4am; Monday, Wednesday-Saturday (Sunday and Tuesday Off)
Overtime frequent and required
Schedule may change on production needs and holidays
Education:
High School Graduate or equivalent (GED)
Experience:
Some relevant experience and needs some skills developed through training or work.
Responsibilities:
• Moderate degree of supervision
• Routine work
• Impacts work of team
Qualifications:
Ability to work with deadlines and follow directions. Since this is a production line it is easy to fall behind and hard to catch up. Basic math and reading skills. Work in a fast-paced environment. Flexible work schedule, weekend availability, occasional Tuesday, Sunday, and holidays are required.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 50 lbs. Read and understands mix formulas, use a digital scale. Able to work independently and with others. Requires constant bending, stretching and good eye/hand coordination. Able to withstand hot temperatures when frying donuts. Pulling and pushing carts filled with donuts. Stand for long periods of time.
Other Duties:
Clean work areas. Wash all equipment, take out trash. Varies according to production needs, occasionally may have to work in other production areas.
Environmental Conditions:
Exposed to constant indoor temperatures of 75 degrees or higher.
Noise: loud machines.
Chemicals: Cleaning solutions.
