Digital Production Artist Remote information

What is a digital production artist?

A Digital Production Artist (Remote) is a professional who creates, edits, and prepares digital graphics and layouts for print or online media, working from a remote location. They ensure that visual materials meet technical and brand standards, collaborating with designers, marketing teams, and other stakeholders. Their tasks often include refining artwork, formatting files, and preparing designs for final production. Remote roles allow them to perform these duties from anywhere with reliable internet access, using digital tools and collaboration platforms.

What skills and qualifications are needed to thrive as a digital production artist in a remote setting?

To excel as a Digital Production Artist remotely, you need strong graphic design skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with production workflows, typically supported by a degree in graphic design or a related field. Mastery of tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with digital asset management systems are crucial. Outstanding time management, communication, and problem-solving abilities set top performers apart in a remote environment. These competencies ensure high-quality deliverables, effective collaboration, and the ability to meet tight deadlines in a distributed work setting.

What are common challenges digital production artists face when working remotely, and how can they overcome them?

Digital Production Artists working remotely often encounter challenges such as maintaining clear communication with creative teams, managing tight deadlines across different time zones, and ensuring file consistency and version control. To overcome these hurdles, it's important to leverage collaborative tools like shared cloud storage, project management platforms, and regular video check-ins. Establishing organized file-naming conventions and proactively seeking feedback can also help ensure smooth workflow and high-quality deliverables, even when working from different locations.

Purpose of Role
The Lead Product Manager - Decide, will focus on driving decision clarity and enabling conversion across the early stages of the digital journey. This role is responsible for building and optimizing web experiences that help consumers confidently evaluate products and progress toward purchase, strengthening the connection between product discovery and conversion.
In this role, you will partner closely with product, design, engineering, analytics, merchandising, and marketing teams to deliver seamless, data-driven experiences that improve customer engagement, product understanding, and progression through the shopping journey. You will play a critical role in accelerating digital growth by enhancing how consumers interact with products and move toward conversion within the ecommerce ecosystem.
Your Impact
  • Own and shape the Decide web roadmap from ideation through post-launch optimization, balancing long-term platform investments with a test-and-learn approach that drives measurable improvements in customer decision-making and purchase consideration.
  • Drive consumer confidence and decision clarity by shaping how product information and storytelling come together on-site - creating the conditions for customers to move forward with purchase intent.
  • Define the success metrics for the Decide experience, using qualitative and quantitative data and competitive benchmarks to surface opportunities and measure the impact of what ships.
  • Influence priorities and drive alignment across global cross-functional partners - ensuring initiatives are well-sequenced, clearly scoped, and connected to broader business outcomes.
  • Stay ahead of emerging ecommerce patterns, AI-driven capabilities, and digital experience trends - identifying opportunities to differentiate the product evaluation experience before they become table stakes.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with typically 5 years of relevant experience, OR Master's degree with typically 3 years of relevant experience, OR Typically 9 years of relevant work experience without degree
  • Expertise in using data to drive product decisions and measure impact, with experience in A/B testing, user research, and the ability to self-serve insights and build dashboards using analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics and Datadog.
  • Proven ability to influence priorities and drive alignment across global cross-functional partners, navigating complex stakeholder environments and delivering successful product outcomes across teams and time zones.
  • Ability to craft a compelling product narrative that clearly articulates project motivation, goals, and success pathways - comfortable framing problems and solutions logically and persuasively in both written and verbal communication, including executive-level audiences.
  • Experience working in agile environments with a strong command of the full product lifecycle from ideation through post-launch iteration, including ownership of roadmap delivery and continuous optimization.
