THE JOB:
The Manager of Digital Product Analytics (Insights & Implementation) is a subject matter expert responsible for driving actionable insights and ensuring reliable measurement across MGM Resorts' digital products, including web, mobile app, booking and eCommerce flows, digital check-in, digital key, loyalty experiences, and other customer-facing journeys. This role operates at the intersection of analytics and implementation partnering with Product, UX, Engineering, and Analytics leaders to define measurement needs, ensure accurate instrumentation, and translate customer behavior into clear recommendations that improve adoption, conversion, and digital revenue.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
  • Own digital product reporting and insight delivery for assigned web/app experiences, translating customer behavior, funnel performance, and engagement patterns into clear, actionable recommendations through strong storytelling and stakeholder communication.
  • Define measurement strategy and requirements for product initiatives, partnering with Product, UX, Engineering, and stakeholders to establish KPIs, success criteria, and measurement approaches that support both day-to-day performance monitoring and deeper customer journey analysis.
  • Partner on instrumentation to ensure accurate, scalable data collection, contributing to (and in some cases directly owning) tracking specifications, event schemas, data layer requirements, and tagging approaches across web and app experiences.
  • Support and/or lead tagging implementation and governance activities using tag management systems (e.g., Adobe Launch or similar), including coordinating releases, maintaining standards and documentation, and ensuring consistency across platforms and experiences.
  • Drive experimentation measurement and learning loops, including defining test success metrics, ensuring proper tracking for A/B and multivariate tests, analyzing results with statistical rigor, and communicating insights and next steps to product partners.
  • Execute proactive data quality monitoring, QA, and troubleshooting, including validation/auditing of analytics implementations, investigation of anomalies, and partnership with engineering and analytics stakeholders to remediate tracking gaps or regressions.
  • Perform hands-on analysis using digital analytics tools and raw data, leveraging SQL/Python and BI tools to build dashboards, answer business questions, quantify opportunity size and financial impact, and enable stakeholders with trusted self-serve insights where possible.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
  • The ideal candidate has more than three years in digital/product analytics, measurement, or related roles delivering business impact through insights and analytics.
  • They have hands-on experience with SQL and/or Python and working with modern data environments (e.g., Databricks or similar).
  • They have experience with digital analytics platforms and/or tag management tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Adobe Launch, Google Tag Manager, or equivalent).
  • They are proficient in analyzing web/app behavior (funnels, conversion, engagement, journeys) and communicating recommendations to stakeholders.
  • They have working knowledge of digital measurement implementation concepts (event taxonomy, data layers, QA/validation, release considerations).
  • They bring strong analytical skills with ability to quantify financial impact and prioritize opportunities.
