POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced Architect/Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary project teams, ensure design excellence, and oversee the successful delivery of architectural projects from concept through completion. This role requires strong design sensibility, technical expertise, and the ability to manage client relationships, internal teams, and project performance.

The ideal candidate is a licensed architect with a track record of managing complex projects, mentoring junior staff, and driving high standards in both design and execution.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage multidisciplinary project teams from development to execution.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest design and technical standards.
  • Review and approve design work, drawings, and specifications to ensure quality control and code compliance.
  • Develop and maintain clear construction documentation and specifications.
  • Supervise and mentor team members, including architects, designers, and technical staff.
  • Serve as the point of contact for clients, consultants, and stakeholders; manage client expectations and maintain strong relationships.
  • Manage project scope, contracts, budgets, and change orders in collaboration with firm leadership.
  • Stay current with building codes, industry trends, materials, and sustainability standards.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Professional degree from an accredited Architectural program is required.
    Architect license is preferred.
  • 10+ years of professional experience with at least 5 years of experience managing projects and teams including project budgets, staffing, and schedules.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong verbal and written communication skills, and demonstrated success in effectively managing clients and key stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead through influence rather than direct authority.
  • Competency with digital tools including Bluebeam, REVIT, and MS Office Suite.
  • Experience working in a collaborative, hybrid work environment.
