Digital Growth & Experience Manager
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
General Electric Credit Union is a not-for-profit, member-owned full service financial institution headquartered in Cincinnati with branches in Ohio and Kentucky. Overview:
The Digital Growth & Experience Manager is responsible for developing and executing data-driven digital strategies that drives growth, engagement, and measurable business outcomes. This role leads the optimization of the Credit Union's website and digital channels, with a strong focus on performance, user experience, and conversion. The position oversees SEO, paid media, and marketing automation strategies, ensuring an integrated approach to reaching and engaging members across the digital ecosystem. In addition, this role partners cross-functionally to leverage analytics and emerging technologies to continuously enhance digital performance and support organizational goals.
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Leads and evolves digital marketing strategy with a focus on website performance, optimization, and conversion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and member experience priorities.
  • Owns website strategy and performance, including: Continuous analysis, testing, and optimization of user experience (UX), conversion paths, site functionality, and ADA compliance, identification and prioritization of enhancements and new capabilities, ongoing monitoring of site performance and implementation of data-driven improvements.
  • Drives advanced SEO strategy, including traditional SEO and emerging Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)/AI Optimization (AIO) approaches to improve visibility across search engines and AI-driven discovery platforms.
  • Owns the development and delivery of executive-level performance reporting and digital marketing roadmaps, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making and organizational priorities.
  • Oversees marketing automation and personalization strategy, including: Integration of website, CRM, and marketing automation platforms, development of personalized member journeys and segmentation strategies, optimization of lifecycle marketing and engagement across digital touchpoints.
  • Develops and oversees a structured, cross-channel testing and experimentation framework (A/B and multivariate testing) across website, paid media, and landing pages to drive continuous optimization and measurable performance improvement.
  • Develops and executes integrated paid media strategies, in collaboration with external partners, to drive acquisition and retention, including: Paid search, display, and paid social media campaigns, develop and monitor digital campaign budgets, testing and optimization of targeting, creative, and channel mix, continuous improvement of cost efficiency and conversion outcomes.
  • Leads a team and coaches toward organizational and professional development goals.
  • Proactively evaluates, pilots, and implements emerging marketing technologies, including AI driven tools and platforms, to enhance digital performance, improve efficiency, and maintain a competitive advantage.
  • Collaborates with Communications team leaders, cross-functionally, and with external partners to deliver seamless, connected digital experiences and ensure successful implementation of new technologies and enhancements.
  • Monitors the competitive landscape, industry trends, and emerging digital practices, translating insights into actionable strategic recommendations that inform campaign, channel, and website optimization strategies.
  • Develops and maintains documented standards, systems, and procedures.
  • Ensures all materials comply with applicable federal and state regulations and internal policies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field with 3-5 years' experience.
  • Experience with website optimization, analytics, and user experience improvements, as well as developing and executing paid media strategies, including search and social.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation/CRM systems and personalization strategies preferred.
  • Prior experience leading a team or managing cross-functional initiatives preferred.
  • Experience with: Web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Data studio, etc.), SEO research and tools (e.g., SEMRush), content management systems (CMS, Kentico preferred), paid media platforms (Google Ads, Meta, etc.), email marketing or marketing automation platforms, familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana) and Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus.

  • Exceptional writing, communication, proofreading, grammar, and editing capabilities; attention to detail, with consistency in style, tone, and voice.
  • Strong analytical and data storytelling skills, with the ability to translate performance data into actionable insights and recommendations.

  • Experience with website optimization, SEO, and paid media strategy, including testing, targeting, and performance improvement.

  • Leadership and collaboration skills, including team development, cross-functional partnership, and vendor management.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving tools, technologies, and trends while balancing strategic direction with hands-on execution.
