Job Description

Senior Account Executive, Digital & Web Strategy

Do you enjoy understanding how people discover, experience and engage with brands online? Are you curious about how websites, content, search, social media and AI-powered discovery work together to shape the digital experience? As a Senior Account Executive, Digital & Web Strategy at Zeno, you will help develop digital strategies across websites, content, search, social media and emerging AI-driven discovery. Working closely with senior strategists and cross‑functional teams, you will use research, audience insights and performance data to identify opportunities and develop recommendations that strengthen how brands show up across digital channels. This role is ideal for a curious and analytical digital strategist who enjoys both investigating complex questions and translating findings into clear recommendations. You’ll have the opportunity to own strategic workstreams, contribute to client engagements and build expertise across web strategy, SEO, generative engine optimization (GEO), social media and digital performance.

About the Role

Digital & Web Strategy: Support the development of integrated digital strategies across websites, content, search, social media and AI‑powered discovery, connecting audience needs with client objectives and digital opportunities.

Research & Digital Insights: Conduct website, content, search, social and competitive audits to identify audience behaviours, performance trends, gaps and opportunities that inform strategic recommendations.

Search, SEO & AI Discovery: Support SEO and GEO strategies by analysing search behaviour, organic visibility, keywords, AI‑generated responses, citation patterns and competitive performance across traditional and AI‑powered search experiences.

Website & Content Strategy: Contribute to website and content strategies spanning user journeys, content organisation, channel roles, content priorities and optimisation roadmaps.

Social Media & Audience Strategy: Analyse audience behaviours, platform dynamics and social performance to help develop channel and content strategies that strengthen engagement and digital experiences.

Measurement & Optimisation: Analyse website, search, social and content performance to identify trends and opportunities for ongoing optimisation while translating data into actionable recommendations.

Client & Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Develop clear client deliverables, present findings and partner with account, design, analytics, creative and digital teams to support integrated programmes.

About You

3+ years of experience in digital strategy, communications, marketing or related fields, with experience across website strategy, content strategy, search, social media, audience research or digital analytics. Strong research and analytical skills with some experience translating findings into clear insights and strategic recommendations. Working knowledge of website and content strategy, including auditing, user journeys, content organisation and optimisation. Understanding of SEO, keyword research, organic visibility and evolving search behaviours. Familiarity with generative AI, AI‑powered search and GEO, with curiosity about how these technologies are changing digital discovery. Understanding of social media strategy, including audience behaviour, platform dynamics, channel roles and content performance. Experience analysing website, search, social or content performance data to inform recommendations. Strong writing, presentation and storytelling skills with experience developing client‑ready deliverables. Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to own workstreams while collaborating with senior strategists and cross‑functional teams. Curiosity about evolving digital behaviours, emerging technologies and how audiences discover and engage with brands online. Collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn, contribute ideas and continue building expertise.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with GA4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs or similar search and analytics platforms.
  • Familiarity with social listening, audience intelligence or social analytics tools.
  • Agency or consulting experience.
  • Experience contributing to integrated digital, web or communications programmes.
