Job description

About Mathnasium:

Mathnasium is a global education brand with over 1,100 franchised learning centers. Our Home Office Marketing Team operates as an internal growth engine, partnering directly with franchise owners to drive local awareness, improve enrollment outcomes, and support system-wide growth.

Role Overview:

The Digital Marketing Manager owns and evaluates the impact and efficiency of our digital marketing programs across hundreds of franchisee markets. Using performance data, this hands-on role manages paid media campaigns, identifies trends, uncovers growth opportunities, and provides actionable insights to leadership and franchise partners. This is an analytics- and execution-driven role requiring extensive experience with Google Ads and Meta Ads to assess campaign structure and performance, identify areas for improvement, and make strategic optimization recommendations.

Work Location: This position may be based in-office or performed remotely, depending on the selected candidate's location. We encourage qualified candidates from anywhere within the United States to apply.

Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship. At this time, we are unable to sponsor or transfer employment visas. Candidates who require visa sponsorship now or in the future will not be considered.

Primary Objectives
  • Conduct detailed reviews and optimizations of digital marketing performance for 1100+ franchise locations.
  • Provide data-driven feedback with actionable recommendations to improve conversion rates, lower customer acquisition costs, and maximize ROI.
  • Analyze, optimize, and report on the direct impact of advertising spend on center leads and enrollments.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Performance Monitoring: Directly review, track, and evaluate centralized digital marketing campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and Google Analytics (GA4).
  • Reporting: Generate periodic reports on traffic, leads, enrollments, and demographics, highlighting performance trends and opportunities for program improvement.
  • Deep-Dive Analysis: Examine the relationship between advertising performance, website activity, and conversion rates to enhance campaign efficiency and the overall user experience.
  • Budget Optimization: Manage campaign budget pacing and recommend marketing budget adjustments based on historical performance and data-driven insights.
  • Market Insight: Monitor competitor activity and broader market trends across local territories, sharing significant findings with senior management.
  • Franchisee Support: Prepare reports linking website traffic to advertising performance and participate in performance review calls to address concerns and outline next steps.
  • Documentation: Support the creation and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and testing playbooks for marketing programs.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of hands-on digital marketing, performance marketing, or analytics experience with direct ownership of Google Ads and Meta campaign management and budgets (agency experience serving multi-unit brands a plus).
  • Multi-location, franchise, or local-marketing-at-scale experience (Preferred)
  • Expert knowledge of advertising platforms, conversion setups, and data analysis.
  • Basic knowledge of Google Analytics (GA4), campaign reporting, structured A/B testing, and translating platform data into business decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical media metrics into clear recommendations for business partners.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
Candidate Profile

A performance-driven digital marketer with 5+ years of hands-on paid media experience who has managed acquisition campaigns across multiple markets, locations, or franchise territories. This person is both a digital operator and analytical problem solver—someone who is comfortable living directly in Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, GA4, and reporting dashboards to optimize spend, improve lead generation, and drive measurable business results.

They should be comfortable working in a franchise environment where marketing performance is visible to franchise owners, requiring strong communication skills, business judgment, and the ability to translate campaign data into objective, actionable recommendations.
