About the Role:
The Marketing Production Retail Merchandiser II is a cross-functional role responsible for contributing to brand consistency, revenue growth and operational excellence across e-commerce, retail merchandising and enterprise marketing initiatives. This role manages digital storefronts, branded merchandise programs and complex projects, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and brand standards.
The position partners closely with Marketing, Sales, and external vendors to lead end-to-end initiatives, optimize e-commerce platforms and deliver measurable business outcomes on time and within scope.
What you'll be doing:
  • E-Commerce Solutions
    • Own and optimize e-commerce platforms, ensuring accurate product listings, pricing, promotions and user experience across online stores
    • Lead digital merchandising and campaign execution with a focus on conversion, revenue growth and return on investment
    • Analyze digital and campaign performance, translating insights into recommendations and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Retail Merchandising & Brand Programs
    • Lead branded merchandise and custom apparel programs across physical and digital channels, ensuring alignment with brand standards and business objectives
    • Manage inventory, forecasting, ordering, reconciliation and reporting to maximize efficiency and minimize risk
    • Oversee the physical HQ Gear Shop, including merchandising, pricing, inventory control and vendor coordination
    • Maintain and expand strategic vendor relationships, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness and timely fulfillment
  • Cross-Functional Execution
    • Manage Gift Campaigns, from intake and planning through execution, delivery, and post-project evaluation.
    • Manage project documentation, timelines, budgets, and reporting with clear accountability and governance.
    • Deliver concise, proactive updates to leadership, escalating risks and driving solutions as needed.
    • Partner across Marketing, Sales, Design, and Operations to ensure alignment and execution excellence.
  • Process & Continuous Improvement
    • Establish and document scalable processes, SOPs, and best practices to improve efficiency and consistency.
    • Apply automation and AI-enabled tools where appropriate to enhance productivity and decision-making.
    • Serve as a point of reference on best practices in e-commerce, merchandising, and project execution.
    • Train and mentor team members and partners on tools, processes, and operational best practices.

What you need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Merchandising, Business Administration, Retail Management or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing production or a related role
  • Strong time and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with vendors and internal teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy
  • Understanding of design principles and a good sense of visual appeal
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions
