Overview:
Furniture Mart USA is seeking a visionary, results-driven Vice President of Marketing to lead and scale our enterprise marketing function across a dynamic, multi-brand portfolio. Reporting to the CEO, this executive will drive strategy, structure, and performance across retail showrooms, e-commerce, and marketplace channels.
This is a pivotal leadership role for a modern marketing operator who can blend brand-building with performance rigor. You will lead through senior functional leaders across Creative, Media, and Marketing Operations to build a unified, high-performing marketing organization that fuels growth and strengthens our competitive position.

What You’ll Own

Executive Leadership amp; Team Development
  • Lead, coach, and develop senior marketing leaders (Creative, Media, Marketing Operations), driving accountability and excellence
  • Architect and evolve the marketing organization to support scale, speed, and effectiveness
  • Build a best-in-class leadership bench through hiring, development, and succession planning
  • Own the marketing P amp;L, including budget strategy and investment allocation across brands and channels

Brand Strategy amp; Portfolio Leadership
  • Define and lead portfolio strategy across Furniture Mart USA’s family of brands, ensuring clear differentiation and positioning
  • Elevate brand storytelling and execution across all touchpoints—from showrooms to digital experiences
  • Partner with Creative leadership to ensure consistent, high-impact brand expression that drives consideration and conversion

Omnichannel Growth Leadership
  • Drive performance across brick-and-mortar retail, DTC e-commerce, and marketplaces
  • Partner with merchandising, operations, and sales leadership to maximize traffic, conversion, and sell-through
  • Optimize the full customer journey across digital and physical interactions
  • Expand and strengthen owned channels (email, SMS, loyalty, CRM) to drive retention and lifetime value

Media Strategy amp; Performance Marketing
  • Set and oversee media strategy, including channel mix, spend allocation, and performance goals
  • Ensure disciplined, data-driven investment tied directly to business outcomes
  • Build robust measurement frameworks and reporting to inform executive decision-making
  • Continuously improve efficiency across CAC, LTV, ROAS, and overall marketing productivity

Innovation, Data amp; Marketing Operations
  • Advance Furniture Mart USA’s data, analytics, and AI-enabled marketing capabilities
  • Champion a culture of experimentation, testing, and continuous optimization
  • Scale marketing technology, processes, and insights to enable sustained growth

  • Accelerated revenue and comparable sales growth driven by marketing
  • Strong growth across e-commerce and marketplace channels
  • Improved customer acquisition efficiency and lifetime value

Qualifications Required
  • 12+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, including 5+ years leading senior leaders
  • Proven ability to drive significant revenue growth at scale (e.g., $500M+ environments)
  • Strong experience in retail, omnichannel, or consumer-facing businesses (furniture, home, or related categories preferred)
  • Demonstrated success building and leading multi-functional marketing organizations
  • Experience owning a marketing P amp;L and managing large media budgets with ROI accountability
  • Track record of measurable results (revenue growth, improved ROAS/CAC, conversion gains)
  • Deep expertise across brand, retail, digital commerce, marketplaces, paid media, and CRM

Preferred
  • Experience in multi-brand portfolio environments
  • Familiarity with modern marketing technology stacks and AI-driven tools
  • Success in fast-paced, results-oriented organizations
