Job description

The Head of Media Operations, U.S. owns the operational execution, performance, financial accountability, and media pricing strategy for Highsnobiety’s U.S. paid media business. This role ensures that U.S. media plans are delivered flawlessly—on time, on budget, and to performance expectations—while maintaining consistent, scalable pricing models aligned to client, category, and campaign needs.

This leader works closely with U.S. Sales, Client Services, Media Strategy, Finance, and global Media Operations leadership to balance performance, margin, and market competitiveness.

Responsibilities U.S. Media Operations Leadership
  • Own end-to-end execution of all U.S. paid media campaigns across digital platforms
  • Establish and enforce operational standards, workflows, and quality controls for the U.S. market
  • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing U.S. media operations team
  • Act as the senior pre-sale decision-maker for U.S. campaign planning
  • Work with Head of Client Services for seamless pre- to post-sales workflows
Media Pricing & Rate Governance (U.S.)
  • Own and evolve U.S. media pricing frameworks, including CPM-based, flat-rate, and other models
  • Establish consistent CPM benchmarks and rate cards by channel, format, client type, and category
  • Partner with Sales and Media Operations Managers to tailor pricing approaches based on client goals, scale, and performance expectations
  • Evaluate and approve non-standard pricing requests to ensure margin protection and delivery feasibility
  • Monitor pricing effectiveness and adjust models based on performance, market conditions, and inventory dynamics
Financial & Cost Ownership (U.S.)
  • Own U.S. media amplification and production hard-cost tracking
  • Ensure accurate pacing, forecasting, reconciliation, and billing for U.S. campaigns
  • Partner with Finance on revenue recognition, margin management, and forecasting
  • Identify opportunities to improve profitability through pricing optimization and operational efficiencies
Campaign Delivery, Performance & Optimization
  • Ensure all U.S. campaigns launch on time and deliver in full against client KPIs
  • Oversee ongoing performance monitoring and optimization across channels
  • Serve as senior escalation point for delivery, performance, or platform-related issues
  • Partner with Media Operations Managers to translate performance insights into improved planning and pricing strategies
Sales & Client Partnership (U.S.)
  • Serve as the senior media operations partner to U.S. Sales and Client Services teams
  • Support pre-sale planning with pricing guidance, feasibility assessments, and operational inputs
  • Participate in client-facing conversations as needed around pricing, delivery, optimization, and performance
Systems, Tools & Process Alignment
  • Own U.S. implementation of media planning, pricing, reporting, and financial tracking tools
  • Align U.S. pricing and operational processes with global standards while tailoring for U.S. market needs
  • Build and continue to monitor and optimise scalable systems that support transparent pricing, performance tracking, and margin control
Cross-Functional & Global Collaboration
  • Collaborate with Creative and Editorial teams to align media pricing with storytelling formats and production requirements
  • Partner with global media operations leadership to share pricing benchmarks and best practices
  • Ensure consistent execution quality while allowing for client- and category-specific flexibility
Qualifications
  • 8–12+ years of experience in media operations, paid media, or digital media management
  • Proven experience owning media pricing and rate governance in a U.S. publisher, agency, or branded content environment
  • Deep expertise across major U.S. digital platforms (Meta, Google, YouTube, TikTok, programmatic)
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen, with experience managing pricing, margins, and hard costs
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and highly comfortable balancing performance with profitability

The expected annual base salary range for this role is between $100,000 to $120,000. The range is based on many factors including location, experience, and relevant skill set. In addition to salary and an employee benefits package, successful candidates will be eligible for variable pay.
