Paulsen: Digital Media Operations Specialist

As a Digital Media Specialist here at Paulsen, you’ll play a key role in developing, launching, and optimizing digital campaigns across multiple channels. This includes media planning, managing,and trafficking digital creative assets. You’ll collaborate closely with developers, creatives, and account service teams to achieve client goals through data-driven, well-executed marketing strategies.

What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Digital Media, Marketing, or equivalent experience
  • 1+ years of related experience in digital, social media, or online marketing
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to plan, execute, and optimize multi‑channel digital campaigns
  • Understanding of paid media tactics (Display, Native, SEM, and Social)
  • Comfortable analyzing campaign data and turning insights into strategic recommendations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Curious and proactive mindset with an interest in new digital trends and platforms, and emerging AI marketing tools
What You’ll Do
  • Assist in media planning by developing channel recommendations, audience targeting strategies, and budget allocations aligned with client objectives.
  • Build and launch campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads, and programmatic platforms.
  • Manage the trafficking of digital creative assets across display, native, video, and social placements.
  • Monitor pacing and performance, adjusting bids, audiences, and creative as needed to meet KPIs, leveraging AI-driven bidding strategies and optimizations where applicable.
  • Compile and analyze campaign data to build actionable reports and performance insights.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align creative messaging and media strategy.
  • Stay current with emerging platforms, ad technologies (AI workflows), and trends to inform planning and optimization strategies.
Technical Qualifications
  • Experience with SEM/Paid Search (Google Ads, Bing)
  • Experience with Paid Social (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
  • Experience with Media Planning tools or methodologies (budget allocation, audience strategy, etc.)
  • Google Analytics experience and certification(s)
  • Google Ads experience and certification(s)
  • Experience with SEO fundamentals
Bonus Qualifications
  • Experience with TapClicks, Google Looker Studio (Data Studio), and Excel for data visualization
  • Familiarity with utilizing AI platforms (ChatGPT, Gemini) for workflow automation, A/B testing ideation, or organizing data
  • Experience with Campaign Manager 360, Google Display & Video 360, or similar ad management systems
  • Familiarity with Google Tag Manager and basic pixel implementation
  • Working knowledge of HTML
  • TikTok and Snapchat Advertising
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
