Job description

Overview
The Digital Marketing Strategy Manager will work with management to audit the client's existing SEO, PPC and on-line marketing for Landry's, Inc. This role will develop strategies, manage, execute, and optimize Search Marketing accounts across all Search Engine platforms. Responsible for keyword research, keyword selection, ad copy creation, account set-up, campaign execution, campaign strategy and optimization, and bid management and analysis of all assigned paid media accounts. The position also analyze, optimize, and refine campaigns to meet clients' goals, such as ROAS, CPC, CPA, etc., as they helped to define them at the start of the account.
Responsibilities
  • Identify target keywords, and will provide on-page and off-page recommendations for SEO coding, structure, content, social and linking best practices. The Strategist will track and report on the success of the engagement, providing monthly optimization recommendations.
  • A successful candidate will have a demonstrated history of providing SEO recommendations and executing successful SEO campaigns for clients, either in-house, on a consultant basis or as part of an agency.
  • Responsible, along with the Account Manager, for the success of their campaigns.
  • This position requires a candidate that excels in SEO knowledge, data analysis, project management, and balancing established processes with creative thinking. Successful applicants will be proactive, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic.
  • Achieve success for your concepts in your assigned book of business. Help achieve the goals, set new ones, and become better and smarter online marketers.
  • Define customized SEO and PPC and online marketing strategies to meet your concept's unique needs.
  • Analyze lead or sales performance data, rankings data, crawl logs, and site analysis tools to identify opportunities for search engine optimization. Communicate these recommendations to management as necessary in order to achieve set goals.
  • Create and review detailed campaign performance data and future looking strategic roadmaps.
  • Function as a paid search expert
  • Plan, manage, and execute paid search/Pay Per Click (PPC) campaigns, including but not limited to account setup, strategy development, organization, and management
  • Responsible for ongoing optimization efforts to meet campaign objectives, including daily management of campaign budgets, on-site conversion actions, bid management, negative keyword strategies, website and category exclusions, ad creative, and landing page revisions based on performance history and the client's objectives
  • Assist with management communications around paid search knowledge, and recommendations to develop and deliver a clear strategic vision.
  • Forecast & plan paid search growth, and regularly communicating opportunity.
  • Adaptable to change and ability to multi-task.
  • Demonstrate resourcefulness and the initiative to lead advanced projects
  • Research SEM issues and formulate solutions
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics
  • Working knowledge of Google Tag Manager

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • Google AdWords and Bing Ads Certification
  • Technical understanding of SEO best practices and working knowledge of internet technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Working knowledge of MS Office suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Experience working with SEO applications and web analytics tools
  • Strong organizational skills, detailed orientation and project management ability
  • Superior analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build strong working relationships across different teams
  • Proven advanced capability of paid search
  • Demonstrated strong performance in prior roles, with increasing levels of responsibilities and excellent project management skills
  • Must be able to draw critical analysis from data and make specific recommendations - i.e. adapted to change strategies and recommendations based on data sets
  • Strong client and team leadership qualities, comfortable contributing to company's thought leadership on PPC industry topics
  • Technical understanding of internet technologies such as HTML and JavaScript is a plus.
