Job Description

CDK Global  has an immediate opening available for a Digital Solutions Manager (DSM).  CDK Global is the industry leader in Automotive website and online advertising solutions. Create business relationships in established CDK Accounts in a centralized geographic area. Increase incremental revenue to CDK clients and grow new market share through consultative sales in SEM, SEO, email marketing, and Reputation management campaigns.

Our DSM will work closely with our OEM partners to align National and local sales advertising strategies. Achieve annual assigned sales plan, working under guidance of the DSM Director of Sales. Excellent sales skills with a high level of proficiency in communications needed. Proven sales track-record with 5 years of experience in B2B technology sales, specifically in the areas of Web Services and Digital Advertising is preferable. With over 80% of vehicle buyers using the internet before they purchase, Digital Marketing solutions that effectively combine the web and online ads to attract, sell and service more vehicles profitably are a key component of our front-end solutions suite.  The candidate will constantly be looking for growth in overall sales, while growing the territory "book of business". The ability to create, conduct and track the effectiveness of ad campaigns is essential.  A key component to CDK's success is the fact that it delivers consultative training providing dealers with customized strategies for converting a greater number of prospects into satisfied customers. 

Qualifications
  • Extensive understanding of the automobile retail business
  • Extensive knowledge of online and offline advertising & digital marketing solutions required
  • Knowledge of online and offline advertising & digital marketing solutions  
  • 3-5 years experience in the Dealership vertical with ability to communicate with Dealer Principals is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of automotive, finance/insurance and technology industries preferred 
  • 4 year college degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of technical, B2B solutions sales experience, including new business development
  • Ability to travel overnight periodically is required
