Position SummaryThe Marketing Operations Manager is responsible for the operational execution and coordination of digital marketing campaigns, with a focus on audience segmentation, campaign execution, project management, and client reporting. This role partners closely with the Senior Client Marketing Manager, who oversees overall client strategy and campaign planning, to ensure programs are executed accurately, on time, and deliver exceptional client experiences.

Key Responsibilities
What You'll Do
Campaign Execution, Email Marketing & Project Management
  • Coordinate the execution of webcast, custom content, lead generation, and other digital marketing campaigns from kickoff through completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality standards.
  • Manage campaign timelines, project plans, and workflows using Monday.com or a similar project management platform, proactively communicating status updates, deadlines, and risks to internal stakeholders.
  • Partner with Sales, Client Success, and Marketing teams to gather campaign requirements, coordinate approvals, and ensure all assets are prepared for launch.
  • Perform quality assurance on emails, links, audience selections, and other campaign components prior to deployment.
  • Coordinate the deployment of promotional, webcast, and custom program emails, monitoring campaign execution and working with internal teams to quickly resolve any issues.
  • Maintain campaign documentation and identify opportunities to improve workflows and increase operational efficiency.

Audience Segmentation & Database Management
  • Build, validate, and optimize audience segments using marketing databases and audience tools to support digital marketing campaigns.
  • Apply audience targeting best practices to maximize campaign performance and achieve program objectives.
  • Partner with Senior Client Marketing Manager to develop audience recommendations based on campaign objectives, historical performance, and available customer data.
  • Maintain audience documentation and campaign records to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Ensure compliance with email marketing regulations, data governance standards, and internal best practices.

Client Reporting & Communication
  • Prepare recurring client reports summarizing campaign performance and key metrics.
  • Analyze campaign results and identify trends to support Senior Client Marketing Manager in optimizing future campaigns.
  • Participate in client meetings and status calls alongside Senior Client Marketing Manager, providing operational updates and campaign insights.
  • Respond to routine client requests and coordinate follow-up with internal teams to ensure timely resolution.

Continuous Improvement
  • Recommend process improvements that enhance campaign quality, efficiency, and team workflows.
  • Document and maintain campaign processes and operational best practices.
  • Stay current on digital marketing, email marketing, and marketing operations trends and technologies.
  • Support additional marketing initiatives and special projects as assigned.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise
Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing, email marketing, marketing operations, campaign management, or a related field.
  • Experience working with marketing databases, CRM platforms, and/or marketing automation tools, including building audience segments, managing customer data, and maintaining high standards of data quality, accuracy, and audience management best practices.
  • Experience using project management platforms such as Monday.com, Asana, Wrike, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar to manage multiple concurrent projects.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience preparing client reports and interpreting campaign performance.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications (particularly Excel) and SharePoint.

Preferred
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms (Sailthru, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Marketo, or similar).
  • Familiarity with webinar and webcast platforms.
  • Experience supporting client-facing marketing programs.
  • Knowledge of HTML and email quality assurance best practices.
  • Experience in B2B media, publishing, or professional services.
  • Knowledge of the legal industry is a plus.
