Overview

The Digital Manager oversees a team of digital buyers, from direct digital to social, to ensure the flawless execution of media campaigns including accurate placement, positioning, messaging and delivery of client specific campaign KPI's within approved budgets.

The Digital Manager works closely with the VP digital to ensure team members receive training in key areas of required expertise (vendor negotiations, media systems, tools, research) and fulfill their areas of responsibility. The Digital Manger must maintain quality control of all team activations and stimulate team productivity as well as collaboration with strategy and digital counterparts.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain overall control of workflow and assigned subordinate responsibilities within the group
  • Oversee the progress of all projects
  • Provide assistance, where necessary, to assure timely completion of projects
  • Maintain quality control of all group projects
  • Ensure that projects are produced completely, correctly and with efficiency
  • Intercede as much as possible as to encourage individual subordinate initiative and to observe their personal abilities and growth
  • Works closely with VP and Director digital in collaboration with VP business leads to manage client business and staff in support of overall company objectives including sales KPIs
  • Collaborates with planning teams(s) as required to support the development and delivery of client media plans, recommendations, and campaign deliverables, ensuring alignment between strategy and execution.
  • Ensures current staff is fully utilized and operating effectively / efficiently to meet client needs
  • Anticipates client needs in response to changing business / market landscapes and provides proactive information / solutions
  • Serve as the front-line day-to-day contact for digital clients, owning the daily client relationship by leading high-level digital conversations and acting as the bridge between client stakeholders and internal agency subject matter experts. Ensuring clear, responsive, and consistent communication by being the central point of contact for all digital topics (across digital channels).
  • Actively participates in the overall management of the group, offering solutions and supporting management decisions / direction
  • Develops process improvements and best practices to ensure consistency, flexibility and efficiency resulting in solutions that meet or exceed clients' expectations
  • Assists in the preparation and execution of all special department assignments requested by management
Qualifications
  • 6+ years of progressive levels of responsibility in media planning, buying and management
  • Demonstrated business acumen and a track record of success in the media services profession
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills (both French and English)

Salary 

Transparency matters to us. The salary range for this position is $75 - 85k per year. Actual compensation within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and applicable certifications. This range reflects what we reasonably expect to offer based on current market data.
