Description
NOTE: This is a full-time employment opportunity (No C2C, subcontractor or 1099 engagements, please.). The candidate MUST be a U.S. Citizen and have at a minimum a public trust investigation. This is an on-site opportunity - candidate must be local to the Arlington VA area. This position may shift to a hybrid schedule in the future.
Daily Responsibilities
  • Coordinate project schedules, tasks, resources, equipment, and information.
  • Monitor project scope, schedule, and costs.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
  • Interact with stakeholders to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
  • Prepare comprehensive action plans for projects, including tasks, resources, and timeframes.
  • Orchestrate collaboration and task execution among cross-functional team members (instructional designers, graphic artists, developers, and editors).
  • Assess project risks and provides mitigation strategies.
  • Act as the point of contact and communicates project status to all stakeholders.
  • Chair project meetings and distribute minutes as appropriate.
  • Produce and monitors risk management plans, as necessary.
  • Maintain project documentation.
  • Ensure project quality standards are met.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or operational issues.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (no dual status) as mandated by our government client.
  • Must possess at a minimum an active public trust investigation.
  • Must be local to the Arlington VA area and be on-site full-time. A hybrid schedule may be considered in the future.
  • 6+ years of professional work experience.
  • 3+ years of demonstrated work experience as a Project Manager, Project Coordinator, or similar role.
  • This position requires experience above the entry level since the ideal candidate may be assigned to work with high-level officials to ensure that critical/time-sensitive training is delivered efficiently and effectively.
  • Must have experience managing digital learning projects from conception to delivery.
  • Must have experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Must have experience with project management tools including and not limited to Microsoft Project, Microsoft Planner, and Trello.
  • Must have experience estimating the level of effort for technology-based learning projects.
  • Must have experience tracking project metrics, including and not limited to burn-down rates, earned value, and estimates to completion.
  • Must have ability to concurrently manage multiple projects under tight time requirements.
  • Possess a project management certification including and not limited to PMP, ScrumMaster, or PMI-ACP.
  • Knowledge of SCORM and learning management systems.
  • Solid understanding of Section 508 accessibility guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team and stakeholder environment.
  • BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Information Sciences, or related IT discipline. Additional years of related professional experience can be substituted for a BS/BA degree.

Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, location, and other business and organizational needs. ($95-100k)
