Genentech is seeking an exceptional Head of SSF Site Services Digital Strategy and Products to spearhead the digital evolution of our Site Services division. The Opportunity
The Head of SSF Site Services Digital Strategy and Products will play a crucial role in leading the digital transformation of SSF Site Services. Reporting directly to the VP of Site Services, this position will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive digital strategy. In addition, the role will involve overseeing the digital products portfolio and managing the digital roadmaps to ensure they align with organizational objectives and long-term outcomes. To excel in this position, the ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical expertise, exceptional leadership skills, and strategic acumen.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the SSF Site Services Digital Strategy and Products Team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement a robust digital strategy that aligns with SSF Site Services overall goals and enhances operational efficiency.
  • Partner directly with Roche Digital Technology (IT) and Global Data & Digital Solutions (Sites Network) to support the development and implementation of aligned global digital solutions.
  • Manage, coach, and mentor a team of SSF Site Services Digital Strategy Leads who will be responsible for executing the strategy at the work product level.
  • Oversee the digital products portfolio, collaborate with stakeholders to build digital products that meet the needs of the business and deliver value to end users.
  • Manage the digital roadmap, prioritizing initiatives based on strategic importance, resource availability, and potential impact.
  • Drive the adoption of digital tools and methodologies, fostering a data-driven culture across the Site Services organization and measuring performance to inform continuous improvement.

Who You Are
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field. A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
  • Minimum of 15+ years of related experience, including 8 years of digital leadership, with a proven track record of successful digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience with user-centered design, creation, deployment, and sustaining of networked, data-driven business and technology systems.
  • Strong understanding of data science, data analytics, and business intelligence tools, and how they can be applied to improve business outcomes.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, with the skill to influence and engage diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in change management and driving the adoption of digital tools and practices across an organization and network.
  • Exhibits a visionary, architect, coaching and catalyst (VACC) leadership style that shapes collaboration and matures self-leadership; demonstrates strategic thinking and strong business acumen.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $200,100 - 371,500. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
