  • 5-8 years of experience in research, intelligence, communications strategy, media intelligence, consultancy, digital strategy, or related insight-driven environments
  • Experience using digital monitoring, research, and intelligence platforms such as Brandwatch, Zignal, Meltwater, NetBase Quid, Talkwalker, BuzzSumo or similar tools. Familiarity with AI-enhanced research workflows and emerging intelligence tools is a plus
  • Strong qualitative research and analytical capabilities, including the ability to synthesize insights across disparate digital, cultural, media, and behavioral signals
  • Strong intellectual curiosity and interest in digital culture, online communities, media ecosystems, reputation, influence, and emerging technologies
  • Deep interest in media, communications, digital culture, influence ecosystems, online communities, and the evolving relationship between technology, information, and public trust
  • Experience delivering strategic insights and recommendations for communications, reputation, marketing, policy, media, or business decision-making contexts
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and storytelling skills, with the ability to structure complex findings into clear, compelling, and decision-relevant narratives
  • Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills, including experience navigating complex or evolving client requests with professionalism and strategic judgment
  • Ability to shape research approaches and investigative methodologies that address nuanced strategic questions across complex information environments
  • Prior experience within consulting, agency, media, intelligence, research, or strategic communications environments preferred

  • Develop expertise across Storyful's intelligence methodologies, proprietary tools, and evolving research approaches
  • Apply strong strategic thinking and investigative problem-solving to uncover meaningful patterns, narratives, and reputational dynamics across digital ecosystems
  • Develop bespoke research approaches and methodologies tailored to complex client and stakeholder questions
  • Translate client priorities and business challenges into clear research objectives, investigative frameworks, and strategic intelligence outputs
  • Serve as a quality lead across client deliverables, ensuring outputs are rigorous, strategically relevant, and aligned with Storyful standards
  • Manage the lifecycle of client engagements, coordinating internal teams and maintaining oversight of project delivery and output quality
  • Conduct investigative and narrative-led research across social and digital media, online communities, influencer ecosystems, news environments, and broader cultural discourse
  • Identify narrative momentum, reputational exposure, influence dynamics, stakeholder behavior, and emerging risks within fast-moving information environments
Client Engagement & Strategic Partnership
  • Support client growth and strategic partnership development alongside commercial and leadership teams
  • Build deep understanding of client priorities, communications strategies, and reputational landscapes
  • Translate research, narrative analysis, and digital intelligence into actionable strategic guidance and decision-grade recommendations for clients
  • Lead client presentations, strategic briefings, and working sessions across engagements
  • Serve as a trusted partner to clients, building strong collaborative relationships across programs and engagements
  • Help clients navigate ambiguity, emerging risks, and evolving narrative environments with confidence and strategic clarity
Innovation & Thought Leadership
  • Work with team leadership to evolve Storyful's intelligence methodologies, research approaches, and strategic frameworks
  • Collaborate with product teams to drive tool development and innovation
  • Build and maintain expertise across relevant industries, emerging narratives, platform shifts, and reputational dynamics
  • Serve as a subject matter expert supporting thought leadership, marketing initiatives, and pre-sales engagements, including contributing to blogs, newsletters, and strategic content
