Associate Director, Digital Engagement
Overview
The Associate Director of Digital Engagement will have a hands-on management role, owning the full lifecycle of digital engagement on assigned brands from initiation to through final submission. They will handle daily responsibilities and tasks to keep their assigned pods/business unit running smoothly. The Director of Digital Engagement, with input from Propeller Leadership, will set and communicate goals to the Associate Director, who creates strategies for their team to successfully achieve these goals.
These goals include but are not limited to:
Collaboration with department leads, creating a highly engaged, positive production environment
Cultivating a work environment, for direct reports, based on core Propeller values and behaviors
Delegating tasks to direct reports according to each team member's needs and preferences
Offering guidance and support on complicated projects and conducting performance reviews to discuss each employee's strengths and improvement areas
Reaching out to the Director for approval on strategies, project implementations, important company information, and feedback on the team's or their own performance.
Responsibilities
The Associate Director of Digital Engagement will be in charge of ensuring that digital engagement on assigned Pods/business units function smoothly.They assign specific tasks to direct reports and build plans or strategies based on the company's goals. The Associate Director is in charge of day-to-day items including but limited to:
Provide direct digital engagement support on your assigned brands and business unit
Providing oversight and management on direct report's tasks; overseeing the performances and productivity levels; keeping a pulse on their individual workload and balancing resource utilization as required, in partnership with Director
Conducting weekly 1:1 and group pod meetings with direct reports, conducting performance evaluations, providing guidance, feedback, and support on their responsibilities
Relaying important company information from leadership to direct reports
Demonstrate thought leadership, stay abreast surrounding current digital trends, and disseminate information cross functionally when appropriate to keep teams informed; examples include participation on MLR calls for key projects, client discussions, light education for internal teams and client partners
Foster and lead relationships with third-party vendors and/or engagement partners - propelling our digital expertise and exhibiting collaborative attitudes and behaviors in meetings and communications
Oversee and inform media and channel strategy; ensure tactical executions align with brand/digital strategy to ultimately be positioned to meet brand objectives
Serve as a resource for internal execution teams to guide throughout the engagement process; contribute to identifying areas of optimization, including new potential workflows or strategies to maximize efficiency
Collaborate on digital engagement workflow by reviewing digital executions to ensure best practices and specifications are being followed (in Ziflow or in offline discussions), and support MLR submission preparation as required
Contribute and advise on UI/UX discussions within digital executions, inclusive of developing site maps or UX prototypes and leading those discussions
Analyze engagement workflows to find efficiency gaps and collaborate with project management peers and senior leadership to standardize workflows
$145,000 - $165,000
