About The Role - Senior BDM Mining - United States (Centennial CO or Tucson AZ))
We are excited to announce a new opportunity for a results driven Senior Business Development Manager (BDM) within our Digital Solutions team who will manage and expand our mining markets and sales across the US. The BDM will identify, pursue and lead new business development opportunities and market specific strategies that increase the Geosolutions brands.
This role will work with existing and new accounts and will drive revenue growth and enhance brand visibility within the mining sector. This is a fully remote US role with travel to mining and customer sites as required.
As the Senior BDM you will:
โ€ข Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the market share and adoption of our solution portfolio, including RST Instruments, Measurand, and NavStar
โ€ข Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers in mining and consulting firms across the United States
โ€ข Drive revenue growth and enhance Orica Digital Solutions brand visibility
โ€ข Mentor and collaborate with technical teams across company brands to deliver tailored geotechnical solutions that address client needs
What you will be doing
โ€ข Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the mining industry, including engineering and consulting firms throughout the US
โ€ข Develop and implement sales strategies and a growth pipeline that align with business objectives
โ€ข Conduct thorough needs analyses with clients to understand their requirements and preferences
โ€ข Travel to project sites and customer offices to build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with key and new customers. Willingness to travel (estimated 25-40%) within the US is required
โ€ข Attend and represent the company at industry exhibitions and conferences and network with professional organizations to establish the presence and reputation of the company
โ€ข Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals to customers at all organizational levels
โ€ข Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing
โ€ข Collaborate with technical and inside sales teams to ensure seamless customer experiences
โ€ข Maintain accurate records in Salesforce CRM and utilize EPICOR for quotes and orders
What you will bring
โ€ข 5+ years of demonstrated successful experience building, developing, growing, and running a sales territory. A combination of education and experience will be considered
โ€ข Established network of contacts in the mining sector
โ€ข Proven track record of growing sales territories and managing complex sales cycles
โ€ข Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
โ€ข Self-motivated, organized, and able to work effectively within a global team

Compensation
โ€ข Salary Range: $103,125 to $130,000 USD
โ€ข Eligible for annual short-term incentive plan
